What is your purpose in displaying the ancient artifacts of other countries in museums for the people of those countries? Is this a show of power? If it is a show of power, I must tell you that by doing so you are only showing your weakness and showing that there is nothing to show in your own history, or in other words, you have no history to show at all.

Shocking and disgraceful. The British Museum has chosen to erase the word “Palestine” from its displays after pressure from a lobbying group, prioritising politics over historical integrity. Museums are supposed to educate, not rewrite terminology to appease external interests. This decision feels like censorship dressed up as “accuracy” and seriously undermines public trust. A world-class institution should stand for independent scholarship — not cave to political pressure. Disgusting. Went to the British Museum yesterday and although it is always crowded, I did expect historical accuracy as a minimum standard. I was sorely disappointed- apparently the region that has been called ‘Palestine’ for over two thousand years has now been named anything you like - as long as it’s not that word that upsets UK Lawyers for Israel lobbyists group - a bunch of nutters run by Satanyahu. They have insisted that the pathetic British museum remove Palestine! Can’t trust this place to do anything correctly.
