SCAM - €1 for "200 credits per month".
7 days later you are charged €35. Your previous 200 credits vanish after only 1 week and are replaced by 200 more credits for 35x the price you thought you signed up for. PayPal refused to refund me also.
I happened to notice a regular monthly payment of €35 going out to Bubbi from our joint account since October 2025. My partner was trying out various graphics and CAD packages last year, so I asked her about it, as I wasn't aware that she used Bubbi, and it was costing far more than she would usually pay for that sort of thing.
When she searched her email history she could not find anything from Bubbi confirming a subscription. She was unaware that she had set up a monthly payment.
However the Bubbi website recognised her email and allowed her to do a password reset and cancel her account.
Checking here on Trustpilot I saw other people found that a small one-off purchase costing, say, less than a euro, was followed by a much larger monthly charge to their bank account without any email notification that they were now a subscriber. So I guess that's what happened to us.
Apparently it's all in the 'small print' and I don't suppose we have any way to get our money (€175) back.
But I advise anyone who reads this to regularly audit their monthly payments, check that they recognise everything, and cancel any subscription services that they don't use or have no awareness of having signed up for.
Same as everyone else. Scammed out of $35. They know what they’re doing; it’s a lucrative business model…while they can get away with it. Cue canned reply not taking any accountability:
WISH I HAD CHECKED HERE FIRST!! One or two is a mistake.... Hundreds = INTENTIONAL
I was scammed by this company’s deceptive "dark pattern" billing. I agreed to a one-time $1 charge to process a single photo. Nowhere was it clearly disclosed that I was being enrolled in a $35/month subscription. (FYI They use a "negative option" scam—taking a $1 payment for a single service and using it as 'consent' to charge a hidden $35/month subscription without any clear disclosure or confirmation. SHADY!)
I received zero confirmation emails, no receipt for the $35, and no notification that a recurring payment was being taken. They simply stored my card without permission and charged it. This is a predatory subscription trap. I have disputed the charges with my bank and reported them to the FTC. Avoid this site at all costs.
Same as everyone else, I fell for the fake $1 image generation that came with a hidden unrefundable $35 subscription. Sent them several emails and they refused to refund. Threatened to go report them to BBB and FTC, didn't work. Then sent a screenshot of my reports @ BBB and FTC, told them I opened a dispute with my credit card and that KARMA would get back at them. They replied with an email saying they're not wrong, but they will issue a refund from the goodness of their heart.
An excellent platform that I strongly endorse. The applications are very effective, allowing me to create high-quality images with ease. The tools are well-designed, the process is simple, and the outcomes are consistently impressive. It has significantly reduced my workload, and I am truly amazed by its reliability.
This service is a scam. They charged me €35 without my consent and denied my request for a refund. Additionally, the app malfunctions when editing images, resulting in distorted outputs that are unsatisfactory.
This service employs very deceptive tactics to force subscriptions to a high-priced plan. I found the site through a Google search, thinking I was paying for a one-time image download. There was no indication that it was a monthly membership. I was initially charged a dollar for my photo, and I had a positive impression of the platform. However, two weeks later, I was unexpectedly charged 40 dollars for a subscription I never requested. Such practices are truly shameful.
