When I was really hungry I decided to get burgerfi and it was probably one of my best and juiciest burgers I have ever had BUT when I went to a different restaurant it tasted okay it was just that one stand that I loved it really depends on the place you're ordering from and sometimes it will be okay be bad or taste good but overall I think burgerfi is a pretty good company for burgers
Their burgers( chef burger) is way too salty. We took one bite almost split out . I call the store, they put me on hold , very bad customer service services, manger said nothing they can do . The manager is very nasty, I will not come back.
I visited the location at Woodmore shopping Center on 4/2/25 and I have to say, I was very disappointed. The store looked clean, maybe a couple of customers so not busy at all. However, the staff on duty was anything but inviting. One was sitting at one of the tables on his cell phone, the one behind the counter was on his cell phone until I came in. I had ordered my food online so it would be ready when I arrived, and it was. I ordered a veggie burger and fry. after I left the store, I started eating some of the fries in the car and was immediately disappointed. Not only were they cold and squishy but the fry cup was put in the bag upside down. When I got home and opened the sandwich, my disappointment doubled. The sandwich was supposed to have lettuce, pickles, mustard, catsup, and onions. There was one leaf of lettuce, three pickles, two of them was the small butt of the pickle, a quarter size amount of mustard and catsup and about ten small pieces of onions. The sandwich too was cold. So, I had to warm the patty, add more fixings and cheese, so of course this defeated the purpose of stopping for FAST FOOD. I was so upset; I called the store and spoke with the manager. I told her it was my first time eating at BurgerFi and I went on to explain my issue to her and of course she offered an apology but didn't seem too concerned that I was a dissatisfied customer. She said that she could make me another sandwich the next time I came but I told her that this first impression is a lasting impression and that I would not be patronizing that establishment again. I'm not sure if this is a Franchise, or Owned establishment but I do know they have not been open too long. If this is the type of service being provided and the quality of food being prepared, this location will not be open for long. There are a number of fast-food restaurants in the same area of BurgerFi and I'm sure people will opt to go there instead. I'm sure that BurgerFi has standards and processes to be followed so that all the locations, Franchise or not, are consistent with the business model designed for the chain. Hopefully they are reading these reviews because otherwise, this will be another business that failed as a result of food quality and bad service.
I heard about this place and wanted to try their "famous onion rings." I never order burgers at any of these places because I like mine medium rare and they do not serve them that way. So I went to one on SR2310 here in Jacksonville/St.Augustine area; it is brand new. I ordered the onion rings (5 per order) and they were over $5.00. I also ordered their fries well done and they were $5.00. I got a soda and that was $3.50. My tab was $14.25. The fries were exactly the same as 5 Guys and about the same price, too. The fries were very good. The Onion Rings were battered, not breaded. They were good..not great. I would never go back. Their prices are outrageous. They will be in more trouble than 5 Guys and faster. I believe this was all put together by some private investment group. The food simply does not warrant the prices and they will never gain enough of a market share to make it work. I was looking around at lunchtime at the young people, all working, to see how they could afford to eat at a place like this every day? It simply is impossible.
BurgerFI is a great place to eat with great burgers and chicken sandwiches and onion rings. Alan, the guy who took our order was so friendly , and I could feel that he appreciated us being there. Leslie, the other guy bought our order to our table and both guys came by our table to make sure everything was OK with us. We also loved the great strawberry milkshakes. We will be back in town next month and will be stopping in again!!
I walked in today, empty place, stood in line for 5 minutes, a ghost restaurant. I saw someone walking thru the swinging door but when they saw me, they turned away. I continued standing in an empty restaurant with no one around. Finally a girl walks up to me, looking irritated. I ordered and she told me they were out of honey mustard and that it would take a while for the haystack onions - I told her I wanted them if they could make them.I went to get sweet tea and from the looks of it- they never made any tea today- sweet or unsweetened. One of their ice machines isn’t working and their coke soda needs refilled.Sticky fingerprints all over the menu options. I don’t even trust my $17 food today by the looks of the workers.Yes, the youn workers finally started coming out- one from the front door- looking at her phone - one from the rest room, two from the back.I see the worker drop something while cooking my burger and he and she picked it back up, looking at me to see if I’m looking. One has headphones in his ear and none look presentable or like they want to even be here - which they could give an effort. All of the workers are in and out of the room, studying their phones and nothing more.I was glad that they were finally open. I’m sure short-staffed overall but today I’ve counted 4 workers and only one other person since I’ve been here.Other days I’ve tried coming by, they were closed with a sign on door. They now have temporary hours. Hopefully they can pay better and get adults who are clean cooking and know how to do the duties.
