Review Time
Fast response time, attentive to detail, worked closely with us on scheduling flight times. Had several options to choose from. What was his name, Michael worked very hard and finding just the right price and flight times for us. After we decided on the flight time and price, Michael was very good about following up to make sure everything was as needed. Highly recommend using this servie.
Check out my previous reviews for this company. I have been waiting for a complete invoice for my most recently booked flights from the US to London via Icelandair. I was promised this by the supervisor, Tyke Williams, who took over my case after the agent Dylan was fired. For whatever reason, on the original flights, I had to choose my meals (not flying until end of May) and pay for them, Is this standard for Icelandair business class?) and was offered to purchase insurance, which I did. To date, I don't know if the tickets have been issued, I don't know if I have to purchase meals, I don't know if I have insurance for the flights. I have called and left emails with no response. I most definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND Business Skies.
UPDATE: The supervisor has emailed me and asked me not to have credit card company cancel the second charge. They are actively working to resolve this. I will leave this review up until this has happened, probably within a couple of days. At would give it no stars if I could. I was trying to get a good deal flying business class from Chicago to Dublin, Ireland. The agent that helped me, Dylan, presented a route through Iceland. I wasn't really excited about that but his other option was through Portugal! Once I realized that he didn't arrange or even look at connecting flights in the US, I realized that I would be flying in/out of Minneapolis and would have to spend the night there. I told him I wanted to cancel and only THEN did he tell me I couldn't cancel the Icelandair flights. So we worked out that I would fly to London and back. Again, he did not tell me that, just for changing the flights, I would be billed extra. He even said it was cheaper than the first, leading me to believe that the first would be reimbursed. Well, he's gone from the company and now, the agent I am working with is saying the same thing. That I will have paid $4000 to fly on Icelandair, changing planes 3x coming and going. Now, none of the managers are available until Tuesday. I am contacting my credit card company to dispute the new charges.
I used Business Skies for the first time to make Business Class overseas flight reservations. The agent came up with flights that met my timing needs, sometimes giving me options I hadn't considered previously. I saved a couple thousand dollars. I'll give them a chance for next year's travel.
