Had three very good experiences with Newlands Nursery (UK) in buying plants (12 x Penstemon, 12 x Salvias & Highlander Delphiniums). They came in excellent condition and good value. It’s a small family run business and I would highly recommend. Zena went out of her way on one occasion to pick the colour salvias I wanted
Just received my seedling, they were beautiful packed and came with labels. The plants look healthy and good! Very excited. Would have given 5 stars but I do feel for the size of the plants they are a bit pricey. All in all though very happy with my purchase

Placed an order over a bank holiday weekend, unfortunately due to my own error I missed the delivery twice!!!Rather incredibly, after 4 days of being stuck in a box, my little plants were alive and well when I got into them!! They were boxed perfectly, and still had moist compost. Now planted and seem to be thriving, even after 4 days of no light. Cannot fault buyplants!!!
I ordered some spring plants ready for planting in April. No plants arrived. Tried contacting Co - nothing. Finally after tracking down a phone number I get told they are on their way - three weeks later - nothing. A month later I finally get fobbed off with some excuse and a refund. Total waste of time. Don’t bother. There are many better alternatives out there.
