Last year tried it, started a sub at offer rates. Wasnt as advertised. All fake profiles and asked to cancel next day with no reply. 2 months later they still taking money when bank flagged it up. Finally got a cancellation. 1 year later now getting T&D Rechtsanwälte GbRto try to get money fpr missed subscription. Cancellation mean its stopped. Will not be paying especially when the email correspondence can't even get my name rightI can even send multiple accounts of when i tried to contact with no reply and have the cancellation confirmation email. Keep pressing and i will take it to court and winUpdate - laywer (if you can call them that )just going in circles and wont take any argument or proof, again another money grabber
This company are a disgrace, I cancelled my membership a week after starting and they still charged me 39 pound which I point black refused to pay because this is a fake website that advertises false profiles This violates trading standards and also data protection policies, I am also a respected solicitor here in the UK so believe me I know what I am talking about, now I have this debt collection company chasing me for 309gbp, this is a disgrace and I would be more than happy to take this natter to court myself, also got aj email back after waiting 3 weeks saying that there was no record of my cancelling which I had a feeling that they would say, what your doing is completely illegal even in Germany and I strongly advise you to think carefully about your next moveThat's the very problem you never issued me with a cancellation notice and may I remind you as a business that in the UK consumers are protected under the consumer rights act of 2015, therefore you have failed to adhere to your rules and regulations as a business and that will not stand up in court, I hereby demand that this debt collection stops immediately with a cease and dessist
I used this rip off site for a week and it was rubbish. I cancelled but they have sent me a nasty demand email. I owe them nothing. Luckily my sister in law is a solicitor, she has looked at it and agrees that it’s a total scam. I won’t be paying them anything they threatened me with a debt collection agency. Just scamming bullies avoid don’t use this. I’m happy to see them in court.
I had canceled my membership several months ago by emailing to them requesting the same. I just got an email back saying I had to reply back again or fax them which is ridiculous. I kept getting emails to pay and received an email from T&D Rechtsanwälte GbR saying I have to pay around £300 which is ridiculous.
Total scammers! Avoid at any cost. I have try to cancel my subscription and they still have charge me. When I stop the money they send me emails about legal action against me. I only wonder who is going to take this case worth just over £300 . The cost of the case would be way higher than the imaginary amount of money that you claim I owe you. The proof of cancellation is your online cancellation form so you can send that to your “ so call lawyer “ and explain to him that you are actually have to refund me rather than asking me for money .i have now send screen shots of my numerous request to your “agency” . Along with cancellation of the circus I am expecting a full refund from you and I strongly suggest that you get your act together .
Following the message on trust pilot the email address i found out was ben_476 @hotmail.co.uk and the letter has come from a company called T&D Rechtsanwalte.They are saying they are collecting for you and saying its 304.34 GBP but they expect the payment in euros. The contact details they have provided are collection@ c-date.co.uk.The thing is that I require my account to be closed and unsubscribed before making payment so then to be sure no following up repeat performances will be happening once that is covered. So as i can not get into my account to do that if you can do that from your nend and thrn let me know with confirmation and then I can make the payment. I can assure you there has been no recieving of any e.mail about the payment and you are accusing me of ignoring when there has been nothing coming through until the one has come in the post, I have now attached screen shots of subscription cancelation requests made in the message box under the option account deletion which I require to be done, The evidential documents I have are the screen shots of the requests I made on the contact page where I requested to be unsubscribed under the cancel account part for it to be canceled and where it has been submitted .And I have been e.mailing C-Date many times today now just you are not reading it to keep up to date if you are not aware of any of that corespondence, You really need to improve in your corespondence and keep up with reading messages when they come through rather than asume customers are not sending anything when they are but its you just not opening the message to read it, You need to be more motivated and keep up with reading what come through than making assumptions and asking people to do things they have already done. ,. what is the whole c date e,mail address ? Do you mean the one which is >>> service@ c-date.co.uk because that is the one I have been sending to all day . the evidential screen shot of the cancelation request has been sent, it is waiting in your inbox to be read and responded to. .
Joined December 2022. Cancelled 30 December. C Date continued to take the 39.90 subscription for 7 months from my account until it was spotted by me bank and cancelled on their advice. (I know should have seen it earlier). Re-sent cancellation email numerous times. Had ecollect who were investigating, heard nothing. Now T&D Rechtsanwälte GbR are chasing me for £309. Think CDate have had enough. Bullies.
