Don't know what's going on, but website and call center is closed. Ordered an "outlet" putter and was shipped the wrong one. Sent an email and got a response that it may take 5 to 7 business days for a response. On day 5 and nothing yet. How do you run a business like this?
Ordered a set of used clubs almost a week ago and paid for express delivery. I still am yet to receive a shipment note, it is impossible to get a reply by email and they don’t answer the phone. Avoid at all costs! Absolutely terrible customer service.
Ordered a new club almost a week ago for next day delivery (additional 9.95 charge). Taken my money and have said via email that they have had a full system outage on their side preventing orders being sent (however not payments and money to be taken). Appreciate companies have issues but the communication has been very poor.Says on their website to expect delays of 2-3 days but it has been beyond this now and have still not received any update of where my order is. Called the call centre today at 3pm and was closed (hours are 8-5pm Monday to Friday) so not sure what has gone on there. If you are considering ordering, please approach with caution and possibly consider other outlets if prices are similar.
Just a follow-up to my original post. After posting my issue on Facebook the senior customer service manager called me. He told he will look at the club with his trade manager and get back to me the next day. Well, he got back to me. He said the trade manager gave him the club and told him to find the dent and at first it was not really visible but when you hold the club at just the "right light" it appears to be a deeper scratch on the heel at 1 o'clock but it was not major. He assured me they will process my trade now. Up until this issue, Callaway's regular customer service has always been excellent but this time they let me down. When I responded to the first email about the club damage they never answered me back. Fortunately, I was able to get the senior customer service manager involved thru social media, he thoroughly checked my issue out and made things right. He was excellent. As far as I am concerned, Callaway is still the best when you are thinking about buying or trading your club.
This is my 4 order with Preowned Callaway and the first time I had an issue. But Beau with customer service listed to my issue (even on Saturday) and took care of it. I told him I was heading to Pinehurst and wanted to take this new club with me but I didn't like to condition. He immediately got me a prepaid UPS label to send this one back and got the new one out by 2nd day air. Thanks so much.
If you are planning on trading a club in.. don’t expect payment for that club for at least 6-8 weeks after it has been delivered. In my case I had waited 3 months before I was paid for the trade in club after it was delivered with tracking verification. In my opinion, you should try and sell your club with different option, as this is way too long for them to pay you for your trade in clubs.
Located in UK, since this may account for some of the differing experiences reported on this page.I've now ordered twice and each time I've received an excellent product at an impressively quick delivery time. Everything is as described and I'm delighted. In my case, both clubs were ordered as 'like new' and my expectations were met. I have not tried different levels of club quality.
