Exceptional Service!

They are simply amazing! The ease of the website is so easy to navigate it shows best before dates, and now features an estimate of when the stock is due in. This is so helpful so I know when I can get my delicious treats! The customer service team are AMAZING, so flexible and helpful they are genuinely interested and very accommodating - especially Emma! When it comes to delivery its always on time and the packaging is awesome, so it keeps that all important candy safe!EXCEPTIONAL ALL ROUND!

Amazing

Everything I ordered arrived (they even included ingredients lists for all the items) and was brilliantly wrapped (the ramune i bought was so carefully wrapped that you could probably have thrown the bottles without them cracking). As well as everything I ordered arriving in great condition, all my items came earlier than they said they would, which was an added bonus!I'll definitely be shopping here again for the good value they offer compared to most UK shops stocking foreign sweets.

A rotating stock of international sweets delivered to your door - and nerds.

CandyHero primarily US and Japanese sweets in all their weird and wonderful technicolor glory, but they also stock sweets from around the world, not just as consistently (or maybe I was the only person in Britain longing for djungelvrål). Even just browsing is fun. Currently they have the best selection of Fazer chocolate in the UK, which in my opinion is much nicer than Marabou. There's a decent selection of Aussie sweets and biscuits too as well as closer to home British favourites. The prices can feel a little steep, until you see what other companies charge the desperately homesick, so unless you have friends and family abroad to supply your habit CandyHero is a pretty sweet deal, plus I've never had an order arrive without bonus nerds. The customer service is brilliant. If you've been having trouble ordering from them via their eBay and amazon platforms check out their actual website. Personally, I think it's more of a pain to browse than via their other platforms but there's no layer between you and their terrific customer service and there are often items available not listed elsewhere.CandyHero uses Royal Mail for orders under 20 kg and you can choose between 1st and 2nd class post. From my perspective this is great as I'm not in when the postie calls and I don't trust my neighbours to sign for me (who steals shed paint for kicks?), but I do trust my postie (I bribe him enough!) to put parcels in a "super-duper, secret stash that is not my bin or front door step." Orders over 20 kg are shipped by Parcel Farce. If you're not a business buyer you're unlikely to have to deal with them, and if you are it probably won't be such an ordeal as PF are set up as a B2B enterprise. (Can anyone tell I've recently had unsatisfactory dealings with PF?) The packaging is very good which is nice when it comes to slabs of chocolate. It's nice being able to give away a luxury bar without worrying that it will crumble all over the recipient like a vampire in Buffy.CandyHero loses a star for wildly inconsistent stock. I do understand that it must be hard to plan for just how much of a run there's going to be for a particular product, but they've often lost a sale from me because the thing I've most craved has been out of stock and it's no fun putting together an order that justifies the shipping cost if the missing thing is the only thing you can think about - Anjou Pears? Some items are only available by the box rather than the pack, e.g. Howard's Violets. Also, it's October and there's hardly any of the traditional US Halloween sweets in stock. Do all the ex-pats have their own candy corn fixers that I don't know about? In summary, or tl:dr as the kids say, if you buy from CandyHero you will get what you ordered in good time and in excellent condition, and should you hit a snag you will get to deal with a real human, and that's worth paying for.

Very helpful, very fast international shipping

Amazing company. This is the second time I got a package from them, and both times they have been very fast to ship it out and the candy is weirdly awesome too.

Second time, the package got lost by the post office, but they were very helpful, and things got sorted quickly. Thanks!
