I feel like Capcom is not listening to its players; they need to focus on fresh ideas, not remakes. The gaming industry is slowly decaying. Listen to people; I get it's your company, but who buys the games? Major disappointments. They have abandoned Dragon's Dogma 2 and Breath of Fire, among many other titles, and focused on mediocre titles like Monster Hunter and Resident Evil. I would love to see Capcom come back like in the 2000s, or even before that.

I have always loved Capom products but their customer service is the worst. I purchased a game with a DLC code included (paid extra for it). Didn't need the DLC until I was farther in the game. Once I tried to instal it, found out the code was the wrong number of digits. (not even broken, just flat out wrong from the beginning). I reached out to capcom and they asked me for the receipt. I didn't have it anymore. I sent them a picture of the game card and the DLC insert. They closed my case. Honestly I going to be avoiding any Capcom products in the future.
Big fan of Capcom but their customer service ia honestly a joke. Got a broken code, reached out, and they just closed my ticket with no help at all. Tried again and got some copy and paste response. Feels like they sont care about players at all anymore. Once they get your money, good luck getting support. Really dissapointing.
Bought SF2 for my boyfriend to play and it took 20 minutes just to get the controller settings how he wanted them because the game kept backing out and going to the menu. The game is also not close to the original it favors the computer tremendously, making it nearly impossible to beat. You can land three shots against the computer and do half the damage the NPC does in one shot. Nothing like the original game. It’s sad how a classic game could get worse with newer and better technology.
It takes a fair amount of audacity to launch such a total failure as the "remake" of Resident Evil 4 and sell it to customers at a high price despite all the deteriorations, when the original is so much better. The gameplay in particular is the worst. If it were up to me, the makers would be shot on the spot or at least deported to a labor camp, where the return of these parasites would be forever unwelcome. This or something similar would restore justice to the ripped-off consumer.
Finally, I got time to play the remake of the superb 2005 Capcom game "Resident Evil 4" first released on Gamecube, then on other game consoles Remembering the superb rendition of survival horror in that game with lots of scary surprises I had high expectations with the remake of that game. I am in no way disappointed! From the beginning of the game to where I am now (the escape the Church-chapter) the game excells at once more delivering superb survival horror-entertainment like only Capcom can do it. The way the sequel has been made is like a whole new game but where you have not forgotten the original game, and which shows 😇I never really played any other of your games except two: Powerstone 1, and 2 released on Sega Dreamcast and Sony PSP. Two awesome fighting-games that were both demanding, fun and rewarding. I have to this day over 30 years later never forgotten them. Never will. But they are regrettably not available on Xbox Live.Maybe one day in the future we will be fortunate to see something like those two fighting games made again, and maybe they will even compete with the likes of Super Smash Brothers!!Until then you have my respect and gratitude, CAPCOM, for giving us a much wanted sequel to Resident Evil 4. Thank you 🙏 I give you 5 stars for being one of the best game companies in the world, and one of the best in your category!!
A company that long ago lost the special sauce that made any of their games good. I don't see my view on this changing any time soon. They need to hire experience game developers who actually play games, NOT people who have a piece of paper saying they worked on other games but actually have no idea what makes a game fun. They need to hire people who are actually gamers themselves. That said, they wont because the entire company is run by nepotists who only hire their friends and family and because of that the work culture there suffers. People only care about what their friends in the company think and new blood gets totally ignored. I know this for 2 reasons. 1. I have a friend who worked there and told me this in confidence. 2. It explains why so many poor design decisions make it into their games.TL;DR: Nepotistic company hires mostly weak designers just happy to cash their cheque at the end of the weak instead of passionate designers who are passionate about video games.
