It was the most painful loan refinancing application I've ever gone through. I was approved and sent all my info to them multiple times only to find out one piece of info they needed, which was a bill in my name at my address wasn't good enough. I put the water bill in my name that wasn't good enough, got my address changed on my driver's license, that wasn't good enough. Changed my address on my voters registration, not good enough. But thankfully it didn't work out because for one, they actually charge you $700 and another $11 for the title transfer! They did me a favor. I went back to Credit Union of America and got a refinancing loan for 4.49 percent interest and Gap coverage and a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty for my car and my payments are awesome! Anyone looking for an auto loan or refinancing, go to Credit Union of America right now! You will not be disappointed!! Stay away from places like this! They only want your money and they want to sell you their useless extended warrantys and Gap Coverage that costs almost twice as much!! If you're hard up for a loan, I guess you gotta do what you gotta do!! Just shop around first!!!
Bait and switch tactics. They entice you with a fake preliminary rate then extend the term of your loan but they increase the percentage rate. When you ask why they then say its the year of the car or they say they didn't have all your information initially. Total BULLSHIT!!!!
I was hung up on, trying to reach my agent. I am also waiting for a call back to discuss reversing a refinance car loan. The original loan has already been paid off by a different company but have not received a call. Very disappointed in this 3rd party loan service.
When I gave blood to verify who I was it wasnt enough. To many hassles with trying to get the loan done I decided to go with someone else takes 19000 dolars in time and effort on a 20000 dollar car loan.
This seems like a scam; they request numerous documents, including sensitive information, without even providing an encrypted method for submission. The process is very disorganized, and after submitting all the required documents, there's no follow-up from anyone. Very frustrating.

Lots of comparing before deciding to use Caribou. I provided my information and waited for a call. These people don’t just call, they harass you. I’ve tried to unsubscribe by text, email and phone with no luck. They are worse than a car salesman. They even call on Sunday. I work nights, stop calling every hour of every day. Do not recommend using them as they are clearly out for the sale not anyone’s wellbeing. Stop being so aggressive! Edit *I received another call after 10am this morning. I will escalate this if this continues. It’s literally harassment.
I used Caribou once before, and the person I dealt with was superior this time the people I dealt with had a hurried, and it seemed like excited conversations with me. I got everything taken care of. I have been funded but now I have some questions and this week. I have called a few times and left a message for my rep at Caribou and no call back. The times I’ve called the people I’ve spoke with again were hurried to move me along in a what I would describe as excited conversations.
