When I initiated the claim, I received a call questioning why I waited so long to have her checked, despite explaining that her thirst had significantly increased recently. I mentioned possible anxiety from moving homes or a potential medical issue. However, I later got an email stating that my claim was denied because I suggested it could be behavioral, even though the vet has not reached a conclusion and intends to investigate further. My advice is to document everything via email and avoid phone conversations, as they seem to use any information against you to deny claims. I promptly canceled both my policies with them.
