I was booked in at the Llanelli branch this morning having had them message me to book my MOT. I left my van at arranged time and went away wandering around when I returned 1.5 hrs later the service reception told me they can't do it after buying my van from them I asked why did you accept the booking then he just said sorry. I was angry now after previously having bad service over a warranty issue that took forever to be fixed when we were out of earshot he wouldn't let me speak and just argued with me as if It was ok and wouldn't let me tell him about my past experience and just seemed to be uncaring, I said I would never come here again after 2 bad experiences to which he replied GOOD and walked off

Very disappointed with these guys. I went through Leaseloco and wanted to lease a Vauxhall Grandland as they advertised. However right at the end they wanted to charge over £300 for delivery ! Leaseloco proudly advertise there is no delivery charges, so this left a really bad taste and I cancelled the transaction immediately.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time as Service Manager at Cawdor Cars Llanelli and look back on the experience very positively. Cawdor is a well-run, customer-focused business with strong values and a genuine commitment to both its customers and its staff. The dealership places a clear emphasis on quality, professionalism, and continuous improvement, which made it a rewarding environment to work in.The team at Llanelli were dedicated and supportive, and I was proud to lead a service department that consistently aimed to deliver high standards of customer care. Senior management were approachable and invested in doing things the right way, encouraging collaboration and providing the support needed to overcome challenges and improve processes.My only criticism would be a minor one. I worked alongside a service adviser who, at times, appeared a little work shy. However, to Cawdor’s credit, the company were keen to support and retain him, making genuine efforts to help him improve and make the role work rather than taking the easy option. This, in my view, speaks positively of Cawdor’s culture and their willingness to invest in people.Overall, Cawdor Cars Llanelli was a great place to work, offering a professional yet supportive environment. I would happily recommend the company to anyone looking for a dealership that values integrity, teamwork, and long-term development.
As an ex employee my experience with this company was extremely negative. The workload was excessive and clearly unsustainable, with expectations that routinely went far beyond what one person could reasonably handle. Chronic understaffing meant employees were stretched thin with little consideration for capacity or wellbeing.Management operated in a highly controlling way, with constant oversight and frequent changes in direction. There was little trust, limited autonomy, and no sense of stability. This created a tense, stressful environment where it was difficult to work effectively or feel supported.Internal support was weak, with key functions stretched too thin to be genuinely helpful. Problems were often left unresolved, leaving employees to manage on their own. Over time, the pressure and lack of support became exhausting and demoralising.Support functions were inadequate. Combining IT and HR into a single role left employees with minimal access to timely support, adding further pressure to an already demanding environment.Staff turnover was noticeably high during my time there, which reflected the reality of the working environment. Based on my experience, this is not a healthy or sustainable workplace. I would strongly advise anyone considering working with or for this company to think carefully and ask very direct questions before proceeding.
I was required to pay a £99 fully refundable deposit to test drive a car . I took the drive but decided not to buy it. Despite giving the company my credit card details twice and being promised the deposit would be returned to my account within 5 working days it has still not been refunded . Finally got my money back on 21 October probably because of the intervention by the local branch manager , Richard .
The mechanics failed to find the fault let alone fix it so ordered the wrong parts after ten week wait and with full warranty I took it to another garage who found and fixed the part in 48 hours, had to pay but was promised refund from Cawdor which never came, never go to Cawdor again, if only Vauxhall knew the failure of this company.
I recently contacted Cawdor Carmarthen for a used vehicle, Oli was helpful as soon as I made the enquiry. Throughout the entire process Oli was helpful and responsive to my needs. I would recommend using Cawdor Carmarthen and Oli in particular.
I was met by Keiron who was very helpful without being pushy. He ascertained what requirements were and showed me around the available stock. I initially selected one car and after putting a retainer on it returned the following day. my choice proved impractical so I looked at and test drove two cars. one of which I selected to buy. No problem, Keiron transferred the retainer and proceeded with the purchase. What was agreeable was that Keiron was helpful, informative and did not make me feel pressurised, an asset to the branch
