Awful service ! My daughter and her friends were treated with complete disrespect from the moment they walked in. Their requests were ignored, the consultation was careless, and the stylist clearly lacked basic skill and professionalism.The haircut was badly done, uneven, and nothing like what was asked for. It looked rushed and amateur, as if no training or attention had been applied at all. When concerns were raised, the staff were dismissive, defensive, and showed no interest in fixing their mistakes.This salon delivers a disgraceful level of service. Unprofessional, incompetent, and utterly unacceptable, especially when dealing with young clients. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.
first of all the pricing are there to pull you in then you read the fine print and everything is actually a lot more expensive than it seems. I wanted highlights that were advertised as £60 turned into £120 because apparently it wouldn’t show up on my hair. I paid the money, but had to go get cash out as they only accept cash which is very dodgy. The job was good but faded after literally a few washes. Can’t see it at all anymore it was only a few weeks ago. Guy who did my hair was EXTREMELY rough and it really hurt. He was brushing my wet hair with a tiny comb. The girl next to me complained because he highlights looked blue. They told her it didn’t look blue at all - it looked so blue I felt very bad for her. Overall avoid this dodgy place.
Sharmila did my hair before Xmas and I go there every month and I have never been disappointed. I like to have multi coloured hair and this time it had the wow factor. Sharmila is always really helpful and nothing is too much trouble for her. Keep up the good work.Winifred ( Fred).
My wife lost her hair through cancer but it regrew after extensive chemotherapy. She went to Cellys in Portsmouth for a trim but it was a disaster. Uneven, straggly, embarrassing.She was still unwell and couldn't hang around at the time but went back later to complain. The staff were unhelpful, showed no sympathy, refused to give any kind of refund.Customer service was appalling, almost non-existent.They seem to use amateurs to make money.A sales professional would welcome complaints because they tell vendors how to improve. But not Cellys who have lost a family or potential customers forever.
We have visited Celly's a few times now. Sandra so you know, it's Kristie and Grace. Yes there can be a wait, but it is so worth it! They are busy but you never feel like you are being rushed,Sandra, looked after myself and my daughter, we came out like new women, Sandra is so knowledgeable, professional, and really lovely 😍
I have been going to Cellys for a number of years and although more than once the hairdresser has cut it a bit shorter than I wanted, I have never left feeling so very upset and so very angry as I did this week in Hastings when Tina totally ignored what I asked her to do. I explained how much I wanted taken off the back, leaving the front and sides as they were. It had taken me many months to get it to the length I was happy with and just needed a bit off the back. She cut it all off! She insisted on cutting the sides as well. She was going to do what she wanted and I was pretty much told that she wanted people to see what a great cut I got from her at Cellys. In other words, she knew better than me what I needed. I am so upset. So angry. I will never go back there.
