I enjoyed using this platform. I was wanting to start taking medication as soon as possible for my BPD. I was able to sign up for this platform, schedule an appointment and get prescribed medication all in the same day. It was a really simple and easy process.
I’ve had a fantastic experience with the service. I really appreciate my therapist. The doctors are compassionate and genuinely care about your mental well-being; it feels like having a support group, which everyone can benefit from. I also love that I can view my providers' availability and choose a schedule that works for me without any intermediaries. It’s wonderful! Occasionally, they even offer weekend appointments, which is especially helpful for those with busy schedules. I highly recommend this service.
As a social worker in mental health, I never really thought I’d be the one on the other side of the office. Over the past year, I struggled with a lot of mental health issues that I didn’t realize I had until the spiral started. In only a couple months, my therapist has been able to identify my problematic thoughts and behaviors, teach me skills to improve my life, and call me out on my BS when needed. Cerebral has been a lifesaver for me. My only issue is they don’t accept my insurance so I have to pay out of pocket. Other than that, I highly highly recommend!!
Being able to select from multiple therapists and choosing a time to meet based on my needs makes the daunting task of starting therapy much easier. My therapist and prescriber are knowledgeable and easy to reach if I have questions or concerns. The platform itself is very easy to use. I am so thankful for Cerebral.
My therapist gets right to the core of my issues. She helps me see through the emotion to the thoughts causing the feeling, and teaches me how to combat those thoughts. My prescriber is amazing. I can't remember the last time I felt so calm and happy.
I don’t agree with all of their policies, but they’ve consistently done right by me when I reach out to them or have issues. My therapist Valentina is also a literal lifesaver, couldn’t have asked for a better experience than I have with her. If you’re looking for a fairly affordable option for medication, therapy, or both, Cerebral is a great company to go with. Thanks Cerebral!
There's no Shame in my Mental Health Game! I was a mental wreck, during the pandemic dealing with anxiety as well as other concerns I finally had to give into the stigma... I needed Mental Aid and Assistance. I didn't want anyone to know.. My very first time reaching out to Cerebral I felt a warmth, a calmness that I am not alone and that they are here to help n they've Done Just THAT! The staff is AMAZINGLY PATIENT. I've been a patient of Megan Kenny for several years... She has not skipped a beat every appointment every conversation.. at one point I'd said Forget,.. I can't do this... after several months of absence.. I came back and she was right there ready to get me back on Track.. I have love for My Care Team.. We're Family Now I have and will continue to share and spread the word about Cerebral with family friends.... Happier Days Are Ahead
Cerebral does not provide the quality online counseling. The therapists do. Cerebral makes it hard to continously get that care because their goals don't fully align with the therapists who provide the excellent care. Thanks to policy changes, I have to either leave Cerebral to follow the care of my therapist, or switch therapists. Both have proven to be a bit traumatic and unnecessary. Also the communication directly from Cerebral is lacking empathy and basic customer care protocol.
