Review Time
I purchased the V2 a couple of years ago. It was a great value but the design started to wear thin. When I saw the version 3, I was pretty excited. The new stick hands, no date, single baton applied indices and on the fly adjustment looked like they came up with a more symmetrical/tame but beautiful design. When I received the watch (blue dial) I felt it looked as good if not better in real life. The blue is dynamic, the indices are stark white and the orange tip on the second hand makes for a lot of interest. I went a step further and found the movement to be well regulated on my timegrapher. This watch definitely punches above the price point.
Purchased a GMT Ocean Series (new Feb 2026) on 14th Feb, watch came next day in post. Noticed straight away Bezel pip doesn't align and when turning the bezel the bezel bounces up and down loosely and rattling as if it's about to just fall off. I wrote an email Sat 15th to Cestrian but no reply. On Sunday i decided to inspect the watch under closer eye and found scratches on the side casing and hazing where the watch hasn't been finished and polished properly so i sent Cestrian another email Sun 16th and still no reply. I looked on their website and it said their hours of business Mon - Fri so i thought i'd wait till Monday morning for a reply to my emails. Still no reply to emails so i rang the number on Cestrian website and it comes up on the phone as WatchNation. The guy on the other end of the phone was rude and kept talking over me when i tried to explain the situation to him over the phone, when I mentioned to him that he didn't let me finish explaining he hung up the phone on me.
I shall go through Paypal for my refund.
These watches are just cheap Chinese watches that this company WatchNation have branded as Cestrian.

Watch was delivered on time & safely by post office delivery. It was well packaged and the field series watch with green/Nato strap is a good looking watch that in the week that I’ve had it has kept good time ( checked via time.is). The strap is a bit on the long side for my 18cm wrist but that’s only a minor issue!
