We had an outstanding experience at this local pub and felt it was important to share our thoughts. As a family with children who have additional needs, dining out has been challenging for us due to various factors. However, from the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating and compassionate towards our situation. They made every effort to ensure we felt comfortable and supported, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal together as a family for the first time in years. Our gratitude is immense; the care we received meant more to us than we can express. We will definitely return.

The atmosphere at this venue was warm and inviting. The food was delicious, and the staff were consistently helpful and attentive. We gathered for a lunch catch-up and ended up staying for nearly five hours. We've visited multiple times and have always left satisfied. Our server did an outstanding job.
We visited this restaurant for a family Christmas meal, and the experience was quite mixed. The staff member in charge was overly strict, and despite my careful pre-ordering, I faced issues when ordering from the children's menu. The food arrived fine, but there were problems with dessert that led to frustration. I had expected some complications based on prior communication, and unfortunately, the service felt insincere. This experience left a negative impression, and I doubt we will return next year.
We were not impressed with the food at this establishment. The gammon resembled pork belly more than a proper gammon steak, and the battered cod was far below expectations, especially compared to similar offerings from other venues. Given the prices, we were left feeling quite disappointed.
I attempted to book a large table for a Christmas lunch for my team, but the representative was unhelpful, stating they couldn't accommodate more than 12 people. When I suggested splitting into two tables, I was informed that the space was smaller than before, which seemed odd. It appeared they simply didn't want the business. I find it misleading to advertise for Christmas if they are unable to accommodate larger groups.
