I've just had a full solar system including batteries through cosy homes and installed by ASC electrical services. The people involved were all professional and explained everything perfectly. Teething problems were sorted professionally and promptly. Highly recommended. 5*****
I had a complete set of Solar Panels installed through Cosy Homes in Lancashire courtesy of Andy and Ollie from ASC Electrical Ltd of Poulton-le-Fylde. The work turned out to be great however I wasn't particularly happy with the potent stink of an e-cigarette emitting of one of the electricians clothing and breath, at first I suspected it to be aftershave until I spotted one of them outside with the e-cigarette in their mouth. The stink left a potent aroma inside the house and on my clothing, I suspect the cap wasn't on/ closed of the e-cigarette either. It should be evident somebody diagnosed with autism isn't going to tolerate the stink of this dirtyness. Due to inhaling the stink, I was left feeling nauseous and with migraines. I won't be increasing my stars as this is the second poor experience I've had from contractors through Cosy Hones in Lancashire.The other experience relates to Scott and his aprentice of Amber I.T and Electrical in Preston who arrived an hour late. They came to install an extractor fan and somehow managed to drill through a ring circuit cable causing a power cut for a lengthy time which as a result has left a very large hole in the wall still awaiting to be repaired 3 weeks on! If that wasn't enough, he ended up scratching the surface of the countertop in the kitchen, left his rubbish strewn across the back garden, caused a stain (possible blood) on the living room wall whilst testing the power. The apprentice also felt it was appropriate to extract my electricity to charge his mobile phone without asking me for prior permission and he also urinated over my toilet seating without cleaning it or even flushing the toilet.
Could not have been more amazing. From the surveys to the installation everything was great. Our home is now warmer and more efficient. Acs electrical the company involved installing the solar panels were also excellent, the work men were polite, professional and cleaned up after themselves! Thank you so much!
Took over 2 weeks for them to contact me after completing the form on their site. Called me whilst I was working and I asked if they could call me back Thursday, the girl said "no, you call us back" I get bad vibes, will not be dealing with them.There should be someone monitoring their calls and failing them, my request was simple and ordinary, their response was poor and unhelpful.Update to response- if you listened to the call you will have heard me asking to be contacted Thursday or Friday. What a poor public response from a business.
Cosy Homes is a fantastic scheme which has completely transformed our older home into a future-proofed and cost effective place to live. I was very happy with all elements of the install, including the heat pump, solar panels and battery storage as well as the internal renovations.ASC Electrical were particularly great at communication in helping us work around a difficult situation, and had very professional workmanship throughout. I would gladly reccomend them and other contractors to anyone looking to take advantage of the ChiL scheme.
A HUGE, HUGE thank you to Cosy Homes in Lancashire. Over the past 2 years the team has helped us to get a new boiler, loft insulation, solar panels and a battery, helping to make our cold home warmer whilst saving us money. I cannot recommend them enough. All of the team members I have dealt with have been helpful, reliable and quick to respond to emails and phone calls. The application process was quick and easy. I'm so grateful for all of their help. A big thanks to Mark who fitted our boiler, he did a great, tidy job, he took out our old system and had the new boiler fitted in a couple of days. A big thank you also to ASC Electrical who installed our solar panels and battery. They have been very professional and helpful in all aspects of the installation. The engineers who installed the system were polite, tidy and efficient. ASC have also been great in answering my questions and helping me get set up for exporting energy. My new solar panels look brilliant and I'm so happy to be generating energy at home. Thank you ASC for a top class job! Cosy Homes provide a truly excellent service and the team should be proud of their work helping people in Lancashire to make their homes warmer, reduce their energy bills and save money, whilst lowering their carbon footprint.
