Disappointed after 8 years of loyalty

I have been a loyal customer for 8 years with four children, but the customer service has been incredibly disappointing. I've experienced missing items and lost packages, and all they suggest is to contact the courier and file a police report. I will not shop online again! I hope this business suffers for employing unhelpful representatives!

Disappointing Quality and Service

I ordered six jeans for my son, and while they initially looked good, after just a couple of washes, several developed holes. To compare, my son has other jeans from a different retailer that have lasted two years in excellent condition. He treated the new jeans the same way, washing them together without any difference in care. The only distinction was the quality. When I reached out to the company about my concerns and requested a refund, they provided a claim number and asked for the items back to assess whether it was a quality issue or my fault. If they decide it was my fault, I would lose both the defective items and my money. This situation reflects poor customer service. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. The quality is subpar, and I will not be purchasing from this company again, as even the other retailer offers better quality for children's jeans.

Policy change to “NO MORE DEBIT!”

Had I known when they offered me their credit card and I would save an extra 30% today that I could not make my credit card payment over the phone, online, or with a store by phone, I NEVER WOULD OF GOT IT! They expect me to hand them my banks routing number and account information for payment which will never happen. So now I have to go get a money order somewhere and then mail it to them. Evidently clerk over the phone at one of their stores told me customer were complaining for them charging for using your debit card to make a payment so they thought…”WELL THEN NO MORE DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS!” So for me it’s now,”NO MORE CREDIT CARD USAGE!”

this is a garbage place

this is a garbage place, they take your money and never deliver the product. they need yo be sued for fraud. If you order online from that place i swear you will never get your order and they will easily swallow all of your money and their customer service is bulshit they are do incompetent and they only know one thing and they say it again and again which is "sorry we can't help you"

I ordered 6 jeans for my son

I ordered 6 jeans for my son. They arrived and looked nice, but after one or two washes multiple of them developed holes on them. Mind you, my son has some other jeans from walmart (Wondernation) that he's had for 2 years and they are still in great condition. He had not done anything differently with the jeans that we got from the children's place than the jeans he had from walmart. I also had washed the jeans all together, so they were washed the very same way. So there was no difference in how they were worn or how they were washed. The only difference was they quality. When I called children's place with my concern of their quality and desire for refund - they gave me a claim number and want me to return the item to determine if it is a quality issue on their end or damage on my part in which they would discard the items without giving me a refund. I have no problem returning the items but if their judgment is poor and they decide it was an issue on my end and not theirs, I will lose the defected items and my money. This is terrible customer service. If I could give a zero I would. This is bad quality and poor service. I will not be buying ANYTHING from childrens place again. Even walmart has better quality than them when it comes to their childrens jeans.

If I could give a zero or negative star I would worst company ever I placed an order for Christmas on 12/16 on the site it showed the order would be delivered before Christmas I found they didn’t ship the order till after the 18th and I still have yet to receive the order as it shows Monday the 29th to receive now I contacted Children’s place was told their delivery takes anywhere from 7-10 days with the method I chose when I ordered the method I chose showed it would arrive before Christmas customer service was horrible when I requested a refund no one responded would never recommend buying from them again

Horrible return policy

Purchased a boys shirt online for $28. It was too small but the return process is cumbersome and you have to pay for return shipping. By the time I stand in line at the post office and pay $10 to return the shirt it's not worth it. I will never shop here again!

The children’s place online is the WORST customer service experience I have ever had! Lost out on over $160 due to an incorrect address. Their customer service is a joke. They don’t care, they are literally like robots that keep repeating the same thing! They will NEVER get another dollar from me! No wonder they have 86% negative feedback!

If I could rate it lower than 2 star

If I could rate it lower than 2 star, I would. Ordered some pants for my grandson and literally called with 10 minutes to Customer Service to cancel and was told it was done. WRONG!!! The rep did not cancel and now I have to wait for it to arrive and ship back when it does get here.

Marketing Scam!!!

I spent $300 2 month ago against that I got some place bucks coupon, Right now thier website says 50% discount plus additional place buck discount. I tried to apply my coupons it didn't go through i talked to customer service supervisor she said you can not apply 2 discounts together remove 50% discount then you can use this 30% place buck coupon.. Now I'm trying to assume do they really think customers are FOOL!!!!! Who the hell remove 50% discount to get 30%??? LOLThey must hire some educated staff!!!
