Review Time
Myself, my boyfriend and my girlfriend ate at the Rockford, Illinois location today for lunch. The server, Jordan was wonderful. I spilled my glass of ice all over myself. He saw that my shirt was very wet so he offered me a Chilis t-shirt. He was a very attentive to our needs and made sure we had a good experience during our lunch. I also would like to praise the manager, Russ. He came over and asked how everything was. He even helped me with the ‘machine’ to pay the bill. I do not like this form of paying. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at this location today. Kudos to Jordan and Russ!!!
I attended an interview because I genuinely need a job and had arranged it through their AI system. When I arrived at the scheduled time, I found out they were conducting an inspection for 2-3 hours, and I was told to return another time. This was extremely unprofessional and a waste of my time, showing a lack of consideration for applicants. The atmosphere felt very arrogant, and the staff were quite disrespectful and rude. They didn't even inform anyone that the interviews wouldn't take place as planned. It was a frustrating experience.
The wait to be acknowledged was excessive, followed by a lengthy wait for the order. A promised compensation for the inconvenience never materialized. The burger was overpriced and didn’t surpass the quality of a fast-food option. The experience was frustrating, especially when trying to pay, as the device charged extra for a game, adding to the overall dissatisfaction.
The chips served were greasy and broken, seemingly made from leftovers. Despite requesting more, they never arrived. The triple dipper was disappointing—overcooked chicken and oily sauce that affected the rest of the meal. The eggrolls were chewy, and the sandwich ordered was greasy and overdone. While the fries were good, the salad was subpar. This experience was unlike previous visits, and the waiter was the only positive aspect.
I've ordered fajitas multiple times, but this latest combo of steak and chicken was disappointing. The chicken was tender, but the steak was tough and hard to chew. I ended up saving it for later, but it remained inedible. The chicken can sometimes be overly spicy, and while I tried to balance it with sour cream and cheese, the experience wasn’t great. The burgers were decent, but the consistently cold fries were a letdown.

The service was exceptional, with a staff member going above and beyond to ensure my friend and I felt welcome. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail made for a wonderful dining experience, despite her being busy with other tasks.
