This cleartrip has really the worst service in the world. We nearly mist our flight because they did not message us about the time change of our flight. Only because they phoned us from the flight company and there great service of helping us to do the checkin so quickly we catched our flight. When complaning to Cleartrip they said that it is not their job to tell the people about time changes. Then why you pay a convienience fee????? Me and my partner we both deleted our Cleartrip app. My advice to all of you is to do the same.
Cleartrip failed in its duty of care by not clearly informing passengers about Canada’s mandatory transit visa requirement. When booking a flight that connects via Canada, the website only displays a vague message such as “visa may be required.”This is inadequate disclosure and constitutes misleading representation, because:Canada requires a transit visa even for passengers remaining inside the airport.This rule is strict and applies to a large number of Indian travelers.Cleartrip did not provide explicit, route-specific warnings or mandatory disclaimers.Due to this lack of proper information, my travel plans were disrupted. Cleartrip must update its booking system to show mandatory visa alerts, not generic warnings. Extremely disappointing and unsafe for travelers.
Very Poor Refund Experience with CleartripI booked two flight tickets from Cochin to Israel through Cleartrip. Due to the war situation, the flight was cancelled and Air India confirmed a full refund.However, Cleartrip deducted ~INR 3,000 as “convenience charges” for a journey that never took place. Charging a fee when no service was rendered is unfair and legally questionable.After a long discussion, a Cleartrip executive agreed to refund this amount to my wallet, but till date it has not been credited. Follow-up calls have been unhelpful, with executives not listening and giving scripted responses.❗Advice to travelers: Think twice before booking through Cleartrip. Refund handling in exceptional situations is extremely disappointing.Still awaiting resolution.
