CLEARTRIP GROSS NEGLIGENCE & DEFICIENCY IN SERVICEThis review is a formal complaint against CLEARTRIP for gross negligence, misrepresentation, and deficiency in service. Despite booking Shraddha Shivam Residency well in advance with full payment through Cleartrip, and having confirmed vouchers for three rooms for three families, we were denied accommodation upon arrival as the hotel was completely sold out.It became evident that the property was operated through brokers, and that Cleartrip had no real-time control, verification, or coordination with the hotel. This clearly indicates a failure of due diligence on Cleartrip’s part. A “confirmed booking” issued by Cleartrip proved to be false and misleading.As a direct consequence of Cleartrip’s failure, three families were left stranded in Chitrakoot at night during the peak Christmas season, when no alternative accommodation was available. We were compelled to spend the night in our car, causing severe mental distress, physical discomfort, and safety concerns.This incident constitutes unfair trade practice and deficiency of service under applicable consumer protection laws. Cleartrip failed to ensure inventory authenticity, partner accountability, and emergency customer support.Such conduct is unacceptable from a national travel platform and raises serious concerns about the reliability of Cleartrip’s booking system. Cleartrip must be held legally accountable for the hardship, inconvenience, and distress caused. Travelers are strongly cautioned against relying on Cleartrip’s “confirmed” bookings.
Only bcuz it is Flipkart company I have made my bookings.. No proper response and the hotel photos are nothing like what we stayed worst situation, unhygienic, smelly, not clean. Worst to the core reached at night with baby so no other option to change it and it is interior with no other guests all looks like haunted house. Only two gent employees there very unfortunate to raise any complainy to take any risk as it's late night. Shared pics for proof to you guys still no proper response. WORST very Worst!!! Need assistance and best solution
If there were minus , I would have given the minus rating, Cleartrip customer support just for name sake , I had worst experience with clear trip and suffered during the international travel, I'll advice everyone never ever book ticket using Cleartrip, they'll take your money and you won't even get the ticket
I have never seen ratings below one star, but this platform truly deserves it. This is the worst booking platform I have experienced. They support only the operators and do not consider consumers at all. Bookings are canceled without any prior notification, often at the last minute. When questioned, they simply hide behind their terms and conditions, which are clearly biased in their favor. If customers ask for clarification or raise concerns, the calls are abruptly disconnected. This kind of service is completely unacceptable.
I booked multiple hotel stays through Cleartrip and needed to cancel due to a genuine travel cancellation.The Cleartrip website would not allow me to log in, and customer care never responded to my emails. There is no working phone support, and there has been zero acknowledgment of my cancellation requests, even though one of my bookings was fully refundable before the deadline.Trip IDs: 25112931124, 251129311422, 251129323338It is extremely frustrating to deal with a platform that provides no customer support, no guidance, and no response. Cleartrip needs to urgently improve their customer care standards.Sharing my experience so other travelers are aware of the lack of support and can make informed decisions before booking.
Such a scam they are running. Booked hotel through these clearsxammers. When checked into hotel (unfortunately it was 1am in the night), hotel guys said they dint receive any booking from clear trip and We had to book again on our own at that midnight. Atleast they attend calls and respond that refund is getting processed. Hopefully I get my refund.
If you are a CEO/ founder reading this, never use Cleartrip.We booked a hotel for my team mate using cleartrip but she met an accident and hence we asked them to cancel well in advance. They outrightly declined cancelling and refunding, citing hotel policy.My question is- if your hotel partners are not empathetic, you as a travel booking platform should make sure that they listen to you.Clearly shows how much they care about their customers.
I would rate clear trip as -1 if I would got an option. Most irresponsible, pathetic, unaccountable company.After giving me room confirmation 15 days before and recieving full payment for booking, the hotel denied my booking saying there were no rooms left and the booking by clear trip was not confirmed by them. I was traveling with my small kid and was left alone in the city as it was a marriage season and in a small city like sagar all the hotels were packed. Never trust this company please and never book this company. Please use ibibo, and make my trip etc or any other site but not this A BIG NO NOUSELESS PATHETIC
