I booked flight tickets paying price of ₹30572. It got cancelled within a couple of hours by itself. The net amount refunded to me is ₹29847. I have not requested for cancellation then why I have been charged with ₹ 725. I am going to complain in consumer court.

Very Poor Refund Experience with Cleartrip

I booked two flight tickets from Cochin to Israel through Cleartrip. Due to the war situation, the flight was cancelled and Air India confirmed a full refund.

However, Cleartrip deducted ~INR 3,000 as “convenience charges” for a journey that never took place. Charging a fee when no service was rendered is unfair and legally questionable.

After a long discussion, a Cleartrip executive agreed to refund this amount to my wallet, but till date it has not been credited. Follow-up calls have been unhelpful, with executives not listening and giving scripted responses.

❗Advice to travelers: Think twice before booking through Cleartrip. Refund handling in exceptional situations is extremely disappointing.

Still awaiting resolution.

worst app ever and worst customer service

worst app ever. first they cancelled my booking immediately after my payment was done due to which I was at a loss of 17k which they said will be refunded in 5 to 7 days. Next they increased the price of the flight I was booking immediately so that now I have to pay extra for the same flight tickets and finally nobody was picking up my calls and I received the worst customer service one could ever provide.

Worst experience...for rescheduling flight they mention only fare difference will be adjusted...they never mention airline penalty and later refuse for refunds of huge amount ...pathetic....no one should be using clear trip site for booking flights

Extremely disappointed with Cleartrip’s service. We reached the hotel and waited for more than 1 hour, but the hotel refused check-in even though the full amount was already paid through Cleartrip.There was no proper support, no quick resolution, and no accountability from Cleartrip. This kind of unprofessional handling caused us stress and inconvenience, especially after travel.I strongly do NOT recommend booking hotels through Cleartrip. Please be careful and don’t fall into this trap. I will definitely share this experience with my relatives and friends so they don’t face the same problem.Very poor and unreliable service.

ClearTrip Not Refunding and Not Responding to Calls

I booked my ticket through ClearTrip. After receiving a rescheduling email, I cancelled my flight. Indigo didn’t charge any cancellation fee since the issue was on their end, and they have already refunded the amount to ClearTrip. However, ClearTrip has not passed the refund on to me.
