I ordered slippers and they were sent to the wrong address. The company insisted I provided the incorrect address, despite my billing address being accurate. Initially, I attempted to send the order to a different state, but the system wouldn’t process it due to a mismatch. However, it was shipped to an address I do not own. The company refused to send me a replacement pair. I will not purchase from them again.
I bought a pair of shoes that were automatically sent to an outdated address without prompting for confirmation. I contacted customer support immediately after ordering with the updated address, but they stated they couldn't change it, even though it was two days before shipping. I was told there was no one available to address my issue, despite being repeatedly told I entered the wrong address, which I did not. This seems more like a system failure rather than a scam, but it reflects an unwillingness to correct mistakes.
I had two pairs of shoes fail in the same manner. The front tip of the sole separated after only a few wears. The first pair was replaced by a retailer, but I chose to deal with the company for the second pair. I was asked to send multiple photos to process my return, and after shipping the shoes back as instructed, I have received no response.
Honestly, some of the worst customer service that I’ve ever seen. I bought shoes that were worn twice and the heel broke off. Customer service asked for tons of photos to prove the shoes broke, which I sent over. Then, they told me to send it back, but I would have to pay for the shipping. Don’t shop here. Not worth it. When asked to speak with a supervisor, they do nothing. I’ll be posting this review on social media as well.
Atrocious customer service. Trying to get in touch with customer service regarding a return only results in an automated response restating the return policy. There is no explanation or response to the questions I ask or information I provide. The single email I was able to get a live person to respond to is a one sentence claim that I had already received a returns exception before. Upon research into the order number they provided, I discovered the "exception" was given due to a failed returns label Cole Haan's own system had made. Finally, the entire reason for the return is their return policy is entirely different from everyone else's in 2025. It begins at the order date, a particularly problematic issue when their shipping was severely delayed and took 2 weeks to arrive (their own policy promises 3-5 business days). Seems like a deeply misleading and unfair business practice to me.
They have the worst customer service ever. When we called to inquire about an exchange, we asked if they would honor the original price if we asked for the same shoe in a different color. They said yes. Then they charge me again for shoes before issuing a refund. They said because they didn’t write a note, they wouldn’t honor the price. When the shoe is the same, the price is the same as well. They give them “different” style numbers so they don’t have to honor anything. The customer service is trash and so is the brand.
I have had no quality problems but I have several pairs of Cole Haan and other brands and rotate them.They had a 10% off sale. When the numbers work out, they gave me an $11 sale discount, which reduced the order to 98.95...so I did not qualify for free shipping because of 5 cents. They refused to make an adjustment...and quite arrogantly, I might add.These companies think we are desperate to do business with them. But, their rating here shows the true story.
Very poor customer service. I placed an order but never received a confirmation email. I contacted customer service and they said they couldn’t resend the email. I also asked them to link this new order to my online account and was told that they couldn’t. Then I asked if they could delete my online account and was told that they couldn’t do that either. Why have customer support that can’t do anything? I don’t even know the status of my order since I don’t have an order number or tracking information, but they surely didn’t waste any time pulling the money from my account. Worst customer service I’ve ever received, next to Walmart. Do better Cole Haan!
Purchased a 2 pr of shoes from cole haan directly. These are church shoes/sneakers only. The pair of topspin British tan in color have maybe 18 hrs/ 6 trips to church. They are separating at the sole leather interface. Lot of $$ for sub standard workmanship/materials/glue whatever. I have a pr of original grand wingtipshoes (church only) worn 1x(3hrs) not sure about them. I cannot reccomended their products. Way to much money for inferior products. Beware
