I want to express my gratitude to my representative. I was quite anxious during my grievance meeting with my employer, but having my union representative present made me feel much more at ease. I felt empowered and in control throughout the discussion. Thank you once more; I truly couldn't have managed this without your support.
The representative met me at the site ahead of our meeting and reviewed our discussion points. He was helpful and supportive, especially given that he was my second representative who joined later without the complete background from earlier meetings. He did his best under the circumstances, but it would be more beneficial to maintain consistency with the same representative in the future.
I had an outstanding experience with the support team, who were incredibly professional, patient, and reassuring throughout the entire process. They consistently acted on my behalf, ensured I received a fair outcome, and made me feel supported every step of the way. My experience with the support team was disappointing. I requested assistance for simple employment rights questions three times but was ignored. My inquiries seemed to vanish without a response, forcing me to seek help elsewhere, which was resolved quickly. I also asked for the complaints procedure multiple times, but that was ignored too. They ended my membership without following their own procedures after I had been a paid member for over a year. Their focus seems to be on collecting payments rather than genuinely supporting members.
I received incredible support from a representative who was exceptionally knowledgeable and supportive from start to finish. The outcome was fantastic; I couldn't have asked for more and am very happy. I would recommend them without hesitation.
