Booking the airport parking was fine, except there were hidden charges with the company we booked through that were not made clear until AFTER the payment had been taken. Note: after contacting customer service, they agreed to pay one of the hidden charges, but only if I included this in my review!
unprofessional behaviour asking money every time u call them for any issue . how can someone build company with loosing trust with people. they are highly money minded people although I had good experience 1 year back but now the company appears trash . I appreciate driver though as he was quite communicative and cooperative .
There is no mention of handing over keys. The car park is waste ground full of dirty beat up cars. The men in the mini bus waiting to take you to the airport were aggressive when I questioned leaving my car keys and didn’t like me taking photos of the car on a jack - no wheel. I asked for a refund but of course I won’t get that .. £60 - a complete scam.
I chose GAPS park and ride, won't be using them again. After dropping my car off, i was told i'd have to wait 30mins for the transfer to Gatwick North, not the "the driver will take you as soon as you're ready", so spent £25 on a 10min Uber... On arrival back at Gatwick, the driver arrived promptly to collect me from the bus stop but the vehicle was clearly old and in need of a little TLC and subsequently broke down on the motorway back to collect my car. Avoid these guys if you want a stress free service.
The website said the charge was £10 but it was actually £12 each time, I mentioned it and the guy said he knew and the website needs updating. 2 weeks later I received a parking fine in the post with a time stamp of when I was boarding the return flight - in Rome. Tried calling the phone number and it doesn't connect so have sent an email. Fingers crossed I receive a swift response...
Horrible experience and I wish I could give -0 stars. The company are liars and have no customer service skills. Other than the poor customer service they made me wait 1.30 to bring back my car in outrages conditions. They give me a return voucher with a number that has nothing to do with them and an email that doesn’t work. The guy on the phone told me I can reimburse the tickets I paid to come in and out of stanstead by sending by email and then later said no that’s not true. Then told me my complaint is not serious and a manager will never call me.
