Absolutely awful experience! Review of Marshmallow insurance company. Found a cheap car insurance renewal called 'marshmallow', thought it was good when i looked, then when i signed the form and gave them my bank details, was then taken to another page where they asked me to confirm online banking (which i dont have) so i contacted marshmallow to state that the insurance offered would not be suitable for me and that i did not wish to go ahead with them, but they still refused to refund me the £600, i have been trying for 5 days now and still being ignored via telephone, online chat and have also emailed my complaint at least 3 times so i am very very disappointed with the whole situation. They have stolen my money!
I was searching for my car insurance for my BMW Sport & tried Compare the Market, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get a quote, there online questions helped me get the quote that was well below what I hade been given by other insurers.
I went ahead and took the quote given to me by Compare the Market & paid for the year in full, I also did a home insurance check and took that out as well, all in all my personal experience was 10/10 for how easy it was to compare the market for what I was looking for, I will always use this website to find all my insurance needs.

Instead of just a reminder that my van insurance was due, I was sent an email with a new quote - that really caught my attention, as it was £300 cheaper than my renewal with my current insurer. None of my details had changed from last year, so it was just a quick check needed before bringing up all of the new quotes. I have kept all of the benefits from my previous insurer plus not only is my premium £300 cheaper, my excess is £100 less too!! Very Happy with compare the Market.
