Half Bushel Jumbo Male Steamed with 100 Middle Neck Clams. MD born living in Ohio. My parents haven’t been back to the East Coast for 20 years. This was THE TICKET! Crabs were on par with anything I had just eaten on vacation to Rehoboth. Shipped incredibly well 45 mins. after ordering. We were honestly all shocked by the quality of the shipped/steamed blues.
Good size soft shell crabs. They arrived just in time before the dry ice melted completely. The legs had just started defrosting but not enough that I was able to get them into the freezer and get them frozen back up quickly.My UPS guy usually doesn't come til around 7 pm but he must have made a special trip when he got to my side of town noticing the box said perishable. Had he not and came at his usual time, the crabs would have been completely thawed.Only recommendation is to add more dry ice especially this time of year and knowing I'm in the deep south where it's especially hot.
