well it came in warm i got it at 7pm and i had tracked it all day the day it should arrive loaded on truck at 7;23am hoping that its ok i put in freezer let me know if its not good anymore to throw away so i dont give anyone food poisoning from soup im going to make
The crabs had no seasoning, and a few were as if they were boiled in water leaving them extremely mushy. I also ordered a dozen of FROZEN soft shell crabs, but unfortunately they were packed directly on top of the steamed crabs and they all were completely thawed when I received them! My intention was to keep them frozen so I could have prepared a couple at a time throughout the next few weeks, but since they were all thawed I had to cook and eat them all within a couple of days! Im certain if the frozen soft shells had been packed separately in dry ice they would have stayed frozen.
You folks did a perfect job, but UPS had problems. The live soft shell were planned for overnight, but something happened at UPS so they arrived in two days. The ice packs were defrosted, but all but three of the guys were still wiggling - amazing, so we only lost the three.
