This is the second year in a row we've ordered crabs for my dad for Father's Day. He was just back in Maryland the week before and said they were just as good as the ones he had that were freshly caught that day! Thanks for such a great product!
I was really looking to surprising my husband with crabs from Maryland where his family had a summer home on the Chesapeake. We purchased the small crabs and we open all 12 there was no meat to be found. We tried to eat 6 but threw away the rest. We also ordered little neck clams and they were delicious. All opened. I would try again with the large crabs and hopefully they would be what he remembers. Delivery was great as they were packed exactly as needed.
The crabs were sized as advertised but were light and had no roe. I've had orders from CD before that were 5 star.Also, not CD's fault, but the delivery arrived at 7:28 pm after an email at 2:30 that said my package was about to arrive. How can I plan around that?

The shells are large size but the crabs barely have any meat in them. The females I ordered appeared old too as the insides weren't loose or runny. Utsvtoo bad, I was hoping this place would be different. Update: I still have crabs left because they were a pain to eat. I will defrost them and send you pictures next weekend I have free.
