i ordered x-large lobsters which were supposed to be 10-12 oz and instead my daughter and son-in-law got 2 smaller lobsters in a bag instead of 1 big one a piece. They could have bought small ones locally but I ordered these x-large ones for them for my christmas gift, so disappointed!!!
Upon receiving my order it was partially thawed, and I ask why not use dry ice instead of ice packs?? So after freezing or more accurately re-freezing I found that the entire order absolutely stunk with rot, and I couldn't get it out of the house fast enough. Lesson learned at a cost.
Well, I have emailed a couple of times with no response. The package came in damaged. Cooler split down side. Wish I had taken pictures. The oysters are old. I grew up on the Chesapeake bay. I know what fresh oysters smell, taste, and look like. Everything was thawed out. Afraid to eat it all. Did try a couple of crabs. Do not know if they were spoiled or not. However, for the next two days my stomach was messed up. This experience was bad. Maybe not all your fault due to package splitting. But old oysters. Please. Have been considering trying again but this is the only response you have given me since purchasing. So I do not think you CRM, customer retention management, team should probably respond to emails.
