Hello....I have not sampled the soft shells yet as there were issues with delivery of the order. ( I should have next ordered next day air for the soft shells in this heat and I KNOW better) I was very pleased with the way Crab D handled the problem.....no excuses, no blame, just addressed the situation and I look forward to Wednesday's delivery of NEXT DAY AIR soft shells....my batter comes from Chincoteague in the 1970's and makes an awesome hoagie with soft shell crabs, Mike's AMAZING mayonnaise, slice of red onion, lettuce and tomato mmmmmgood....Suzanne and I thank you.
I ordered 12 frozen whale soft shell crab. They were advertised as cleaned before freezing, however a third of them were NOT cleaned or were insufficiently cleaned. In addition, we are within the 2 day ground shipping area, so that is the shipping method we used. Yet three of the six were completely thawed when they were delivered, while the other six were solidly frozen except for their legs. Very disappointed in this first time shopping experience. 7/10/25: Follow/up: Company contacted me immediately upon my review to apologize for the quality control problem. I was offered store credit, another order, or a full refund. I was very impressed with this type of customer service. Crab Dynssty seems to actually care about customer satisfaction and ensuring a good experience. I would recommend them for this alone and award them an additional star.
