Do we have a ZERO STAR? I've only had Crave for three days and have had nothing but problems. The entire system dropped in the middle of a show today. I'm being told I have to "Subscribe" when I have a subscription until March 19th. I cannot believe how terrible the system is. My girlfriend also couldn't sign in, the system wouldn't recognize her password etc. HORRENDOUS experience.
The worst streaming service you could subscribe to. If you choose to overlook their poor lineup of content, and their clunky and heavy user experience (everything feels heavy and slow to load), you'll still be inundated with ad breaks every few minutes, and sometimes the ads will get stuck forcing you to exit and return only to then be immediately hit by another forced ad break which has a 50/50 chance of also getting stuck, and on and on.

My wife opted for the basic subscription, but having 4 ads feels excessive. The service charges us monthly while also profiting from ad revenue! Additionally, encountering a black screen with only audio for my shows is frustrating. I had to restart the app just to continue watching, and honestly, it’s not worth it!
The service really needs to reconsider its pricing! The cost for ad-free streaming is simply unacceptable...and if you opt not to pay, be ready to grab your remote for when those ads roll in because the volume is unbearable! I usually keep my TV at a low volume, but I find myself desperately reaching for the remote to lower it when the ads come on. It's my hearing or nothing!
This platform is frustrating. Even after purchasing the full premium subscription, I was unable to watch multiple TV series. They all still show shopping cart icons and cannot be selected. This is especially disappointing considering the high cost of the subscription! This platform is very disappointing!
I have been a client for over 6 years on an annual plan, but at renewal, my membership is switched to monthly without notice. Each time, I have to call to request that the monthly charges be waived. The representative keeps repeating the same script. I find myself needing to ask for a supervisor from Canada to intervene every year.
Streaming is completely unfeasible as it buffers every few seconds. This feels like a scam. The service is linked to another provider known for similar issues. Once you realize you're not receiving what you paid for, getting a refund is nearly impossible. I strongly advise against it.
I would give a lower rating if I could. The service has become almost unusable. It worked fine for months, but after a recent update, I was logged out, and now every show or movie freezes after just 15 seconds, while the audio keeps playing. This results in frequent desynchronization. I was already considering cancellation because of the excessive ads and their overwhelming volume compared to the actual content. Very poor service.
On October 4, 2025, I renewed my ad-free subscription for another six months at $92.00 plus tax. Everything was fine until about a week ago when ads began appearing on "My Crave". I paid for an ad-free experience and expected no shows to have ads. They now refer to it as "Bonus Content". When I look at subscription options on their website, this Bonus Content with ads is displayed, which was not mentioned when I renewed my subscription. Since I paid for ad-free service, I expect the removal of any shows with ads from my account until my subscription ends. Ads should only appear if I choose to renew under the new terms. Paying for an ad-free service only to encounter ads is incredibly frustrating on multiple levels. Additionally, regarding technical issues on Roku devices: the Crave app had recently improved, no longer cutting off show endings, which was great. However, they messed with the updated app shortly after. Now, when I turn it on, I am forced to choose closed captioning to access any show, and it's impossible to keep it off permanently. Each time I start a Crave show, the captions automatically turn on, and I have to turn them off manually. Ultimately, an excellent update lasted only two weeks before they ruined it with ads in a supposedly ad-free subscription.
