I am excited to share my overwhelmingly positive thoughts about this company and their roastery. They offer two of my all-time favorite blends: the good morning sunshine blend and the common grounds barrel aged coffee beans, both incredible, rich, aromatic, and distinct. The good morning sunshine blend, when brewed as filter coffee, has slightly higher acidity, with a flavor profile that is more traditional compared to common grounds, featuring nutty, vanilla, and subtly creamy with a hint of spice. I am always satisfied with these beans. Conversely, the Common Grounds blend is truly unique; the barrel aging has a more pronounced effect than I anticipated. This blend has slightly lower acidity when brewed as filter coffee, showcasing rich whisky notes. I would describe the flavor as somewhat akin to mincemeat, complemented by a boozy liquor top note, while the base remains stable and subtle without being overly roasted chocolate, providing a pleasant mouthfeel. I highly recommend these blends to everyone. Although I may not be familiar with darker roasts that lean towards espresso, I can confidently say that Under Milk Wood is also fantastic.

I've been purchasing coffee from this company for a while and have tried their core range. Although all their beans are good, we particularly love the smoothness and flavor of Under Milk Wood. There have been rarely any issues; the only time I needed to reach out was when I received the wrong bag, and they promptly sent the correct one the same day, along with an apology and told me to keep the incorrect bag. This is the kind of service that stands out alongside a superb product.

I just tried an Italian style coffee and think it's wonderful! It's chocolatey and has a classic feel without any bitterness—very sweet and tasty! Using my basic home machine, it turned out great. I’ve realized I prefer darker roasts and traditional flavors over the citrusy or fruity varieties, which can be hard to perfect at home!
This review is for an event I attended at the company. We participated in their home barista course, led by one of their directors. After welcoming us with a cup of excellent coffee, he conducted an exceptional training session, covering how to adjust your home grinder, prepare an espresso, and steam milk. We had hands-on experience using their professional machines. Additionally, he discussed broader aspects of the coffee trade and the company's ethical approach to working with growers. His deep knowledge and experience made for a truly engaging morning. He generously shared advice and provided informative demonstrations. We now have a clearer understanding of how to make a great espresso at home. The beautiful old mill setting also added to the experience. Thank you for such an inspiring and useful workshop; we look forward to returning for future events!
I had previously ordered special releases from this company and decided to try some of their other products. When my package arrived, it contained two bags, one of which was incorrect. I reached out via email and got a response within an hour from a representative who assured me that the correct bag would be sent out the same day, and I could keep the one that was sent by mistake. The replacement arrived quickly, and I was pleased with the speedy delivery, excellent customer service, and, most importantly, fantastic coffee. I will definitely be ordering again!
Beyond the excellent coffee, the customer support is outstanding. I placed an order on a Wednesday, expecting delivery by Friday, but the courier lost the package. I contacted customer service, and they replaced my coffee at no extra charge and are addressing the issue with the courier.
