Dash Media contacted me within minutes of my listing on Bark.com going live, but they also made the best and most competitively priced of all the offers I received over the next two days. I am very glad I chose them, as they have been extremely helpful and have gone out of their way to understand my brief, which clearly paid dividends given the quality of the work I have so far received. They are also highly responsive and have been flexible with deadlines to meet my requirements. I would definitely recommend Dash to anyone looking for any sort of web design solutions.
Dash really understood our company brand and created a website that felt really unique and specialized to us. As a film production company it was really important to us that we have a slick and creative online presence. Dash really listened to what we were looking for and managed to create something exciting and creative that we were immediately completely happy with. First I got my website up with the help of Dash Media. Then I started working with their social media manager, Louis Coates. I write short posts, and Louis finds the imagery to make them come vividly and beautifully to life. We've worked together closely to arrive at a look that reflects my products. I've also hugely appreciated how approachable and helpful Louis has been, and the benefit of his advice and guidance in a field that, for me, is a big learning curve.
A highly disappointing and stressful experience. I first contacted Dash Media to create a website in December 2021. The email I received from one of the directors said that the design would be ready in 14-21 days. I subsequently signed up for six other websites in early 2022. By September 2022, only 2 websites had been completed. I had stressed the urgency of the five other websites from the beginning, as they were a redesign and I needed the completed redesign before I could integrate an e-learning platform. There were several assurances throughout the 10-month period that the websites would be done by ‘x’ date. By September 2022, one had barely begun and there was still a ton of work to do on four of them. By then, I knew that I would be waiting for a long time for the redesign which would negatively impact my business and was a source of great stress. So, I asked Dash to send the site logins so that I could get another developer to do it as it was so urgent. I had already paid in full. I lost several thousand pounds to Dash for work that wasn’t done and then had to hire and pay another few thousand to an independent designer and developer to do the sites, which they did successfully and efficiently. Dash Media are very responsive when they want to sign you up and take your payment but communication is sparse after that. At one stage, I didn’t hear from my project manager for two months, despite numerous attempts to contact her. Added to this was the stress and impact on my business. There were several other issues, too many to mention in this review. I wish I had never signed up with them and hopefully, this review will inform and help others when considering Dash Media. Edit: I’d like to comment on Dash Media’s response to my review. Expecting a website to be finished in less than 10 months isn't a 'tight' deadline, particularly, as Dash said the design would be done in 14-21 days. Dash completed two websites and provided the login to the five incomplete ones that weren't live. I then had to hire someone else to finish the amount of work on the sites so that I could make them live. ‘My requirements’ were that I was promised completed websites in a couple of months and did not receive this, despite the fact I had paid them in full. As mentioned, 10 months later, I just had five draft sites. So, the only solution was getting someone else to actually work on my sites and finish them, which I did, at my own expense. Their response is what I’ve come to expect from Dash…
I recently worked with Dash to create a website for my styling business that is now live at mfjstyling.co.ukFrom start to finish, Dash were so professional and efficient. They understood the brief so well and I felt like time had really been taken to look at my business and my brand to ensure the website fit the house style and was cohesive and consistent. Communication was excellent; I was sent regular emails at every stage to keep me in touch with what was happening with the build and I was constantly asked if I wanted to make any amendments or any extra contributions. I have had so many compliments since launching the website about how professional it is and how seamless it is to use. The timeframe from the first email to my finished website was quicker than the original timeframe I was given and it exceeded all of my expectations when I saw the finished website.
