I’m very satisfied with my car insurance experience. The policy was easy to understand, pricing was competitive, and customer service was prompt and professional. Everything was handled smoothly from start to finish.
I had and still having problems and bad experience with dcl..I been insured with dcl from 7th January 2025 and despite had bad experience I did renew again from 6th January 2026 but 15th January I received email that dcl canceling my policy on 22nd because they found out that I having 3 points on my driving licence ..even when I renewed or bought policy I did explain to agent that I been to court and received the letter that I been fined £600 but never mentioned that I fined with 3 points but I did find out when I checked for DVLA code after I been asked from dcl to send my driving licence and DVLA code..so because of that without talking to me dcl decided to cancel and charging me for 10 days £200 and rest of money to refund me after 3 weeks because of that my bank charge me interest £45 ..I contacted dcl today but like many times they don't want to explain charges and telling me that I have to wait 3 weeks for refund..the second issue is through 2025 because I had accident on 24th February 2025 even I never was at fault and send them evidence they never did sorted out my case I had to speak on the phone more than 30 times seeking for help but was so difficult without no responsibility they most of the time avoiding responsibility.. been told talk to msl..talk to noble but without help even when I bought the policy choose option motor legal protection at the end been told that they don't want the case to go to court or still investing and told me to find private solicitor because they don't want to help me more about accident case ..is so much to say about dcl they are just nothing and stressful for clients.. you are good for them to buy that policy and never to claim or ask for help.. you can't find professionalism to them..my advice is be careful if you want to buy policy from dcl they are cheap a bit but not worthy..
