I purchased a blue silicone case for a new smartphone model. Since that color wasn’t in stock, they offered to send me a black one along with a complimentary wallet accessory. Customer service was outstanding. The case itself felt solid and well-constructed. However, I was let down by the exterior finish. It was slippery to hold, yet too grippy when trying to slide it in or out of a pocket. This created a lack of grip during use but made it difficult to store. Such a shame for an otherwise well-designed product. I eventually opted for a different case that had the opposite characteristics: it slid easily into pockets and provided a much better grip while holding it. I hope the company considers a different finish in the future, as the current one rendered the product ineffective for me.
I received a damaged case. Additionally, I was hit with a $42 customs fee weeks after delivery, with no prior notice. They only added this information to the listing after I raised a complaint. The return policy is absurd—I'm required to: 1) Cut it in half (seriously), 2) Take a picture of it cut, 3) PAY to ship it back (over $30 for a $60 case), 4) HOPE for a refund. I initiated a chargeback after their support failed to respond in the promised timeframe, and my credit card company agreed it was valid. However, the company is now contesting this over $60, causing significant frustration. Their responses are repetitive and unhelpful—definitely avoid.
