I think compared to most stores where I buy model kits, Deltabase has better rapport. It's not just select, buy, bye end if story. I can definitely appreciate the personal touch Dean has when communicating with us. He seems to be on top of everything and is transparent with any mishaps or delays. Service is definitely up there! Will definitely continue shopping at Deltabase and recommending my friends to it also. I sincerely hope it does well and gets bigger overtime.I only wish I discovered it sooner. When I post my builds, deltabase will definitely be tagged and mentioned. Hope I can spread the word as much as I can!
Was sitting on the fence about picking up a Chinese plamo (only have experience with Bandai). I was encouraged to take the plunge in large part because deltabase only stock kits that Dean himself wants to build and from manufacturers he trusts, i.e. all the kits are carefully curated. After placing a pre-order, Dean contacted me within hours to confirm the order and to give me a rough idea of when the kit would ship. He continued to provide periodic ETA updates, let me know when the kit was out for delivery and also message me to ensure the kit arrived safely. After I opened the shipping box, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Dean had taken great pains to bubble wrap the kit box in a special way (complete with plastic protectors for the 4 corners), so as to avoid putting sticky tape on the box itself, thereby negating the risk of any damage to the box when the bubble wrap is removed. The service from deltabase is superb. Highly recommended!
