Review Time
I received a call from Deluxe regarding a $50.00 off promotion. I did need PAYROLL checks, so went ahead and pulled out my reorder slip from the check box. I read the product code to the rep, and we also ordered the compatible envelopes for the checks. When discussing the beginning check number, there was some confusion. The rep gave me the number, and I corrected them, with the number on my reorder slip. Then I explained that I had two different style checks for that particular checking account. Both a ledger type and a laser type for the payroll. All said and done, i received a confirmation, but not a picture of the actual check. Had I been sent a picture I would have caught the problem. Partly my fault for not double checking the product number, which was the ledger type check, NOT the laser check. Now I have ended up with 2500 ledger type checks which will take me until I am almost dead to use up, and no payroll checks! Lesson learned. Do it on line and you can see the actual check, numbers, style, ect.
I do not order checks very often. So, every time I order checks, Deluxe has deleted their records of my previous checks. This forces me to go back to my bank and start the process of getting checks issued all over again, from the start. Next time, I'll order my checks from a company that pertains their records of their customer purchases longer.
Delivery was in an appropriate amount of time. However I am extremely disappointed it the quality of product that I received. They charge way to much for what you get. The business check binder I paid $50 for is a joke. I can go to Walmart and get something way better for a fraction of the cost out of the school supply section. Will definitely shop some where else next time.
