I engaged Dwell Rich Ltd for furniture sourcing services under a clear written agreement.The agreed terms were that the fee would be 15% of the total furniture cost, payable only once furniture selections had been finalised. A £500 deposit was paid upfront. There was no agreement for hourly charges or standalone design fees.In reality, no furniture was sourced or purchased. When I selected items within my budget, the designer refused to proceed because she did not agree with my choices, despite having confirmed that sourcing would be from any brand.I was then presented with a retrospective breakdown of charges that were never agreed in the contract, and most of my deposit was withheld.I have since taken advice from Citizens Advice (Consumer Service), who confirmed that charging outside the agreed contract and retaining the deposit in these circumstances constitutes a breach of contract.Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. I have lost money, and I would strongly caution others to be very careful before paying a deposit, as you may experience the same.

She was recommended to us by our architect, and from the very beginning she guided us step-by-step, helping us understand what needed to be done and where to source all the materials. She also helped us shop around and even secured a trade discount, which saved us money and made the project much more manageable.She organised everything brilliantly, including bringing in the right people from different trades. The builders from Manes Construction Ltd were especially outstanding — so friendly, supportive, and easy to work with that they genuinely began to feel like family. They resolved any issues quickly, worked efficiently, and completed everything to a high standard. We were very happy with their work.Another thing I really appreciated was how clearly Saleha planned out the payment schedule. I was initially concerned about this, but her approach made the whole process smooth and stress-free.Overall, we are pleased with both Saleha and the team she provided. I would happily recommend her to others in the future, and I would definitely use the same team again for any future projects.
