Without doubt this is the worst platform to use for processing invoices. Abysmal support and a totally disfunctional platform. The auto rules 100% never work and associate any nominal codes for suppliers putting through payments as other payments rather than importing invoices If i could give it - 1000 starts I would Dreadful If you want to triple your work load use Dext
DEXT was fantastic up until it was taken over by their new company. Bank statements used to take less than an hour to process, however, I am having to wait for hours on end for Bank statements to process. If I have to upload bank statements past 1pm in the afternoon, I can't even expect to have them processed till the following morning. I wonder if DEXT has purposely done this to force their users to purchase their 'boost' version that obviously costs more. It's a shame really.
Dext is easy to use, intuitive and a great way to quickly keep track of expenses for reimbursement. I never dread putting in my receipts and creating expense reports, because I can get it done in 3 minutes or less! The app and website are equally accessible and reliable. Thanks, Dext!
I am a public practice accountant operating an accounting firm in Australia. On April 9, 2024, I subscribed to Dext with the expectation that it would streamline our bookkeeping services. However, on April 17, 2024, I contacted Dext to cancel the subscription because the software was unsuitable for our practice. I requested the removal of our subscription, but I was informed that it was an annual contract and could not be canceled. I explained that we had only used the software for a few days and would not use it again due to its unsuitability for our needs.Under Australian Consumer Law, consumers are entitled to a 10-business-day cooling-off period to change their mind and cancel a contract. Despite this, I am now, eight months after the initial subscription, receiving letters from a collection agency demanding payment for the overdue amount.
Be very careful taking out a subscription with Dext. You will be signing up for a minimum year's contract -- which is not mentioned when you sign up. And if you want to cancel you have to do so before the current year expires since the sub automatically rolls over the another year. Something else which isn't explained. This feels very close to a scam to me given the lack of info provided on terms and conditions either upfront or at the annual renewal date. The software is also very expensive. Apron now provides very similar functionality at a fraction of the cost.
