I ordered kids’ uniforms. They took the money and then disappeared. No product was delivered. I called, but no one answered, and I got stuck in a recorded message loop. I sent emails, but no one replied. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent - Used them for several years

Have been using Direct school wear for several years now and they never disappoint.The quality of the uniforms is excellent. It's been durable, comfortable and still looks smart after many washes.Ordering online is pretty straightforward and delivery has always been prompt and reliable. Their customer service is outstanding, always friendly and quick to help with any questions like sizing/stock. It's a relief to have a company we can rely on every year. I would highly recommend them to any parent looking for high-quality schoolwear without the hassle.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service Review belt companyI ordered 2 belts for my son, one arrived damaged so I emailed the company with photos asking for another belt to be sent to me to replace the faulty one. After around 3 days I received no reply, so resent the email. After another 2-3 days I phoned the company and couldn't get through so I resent the email to the complaints department. My phone call was returned and I was told I had to return the belt. So I paid £3.75 to have a faulty belt returned. This was over a week ago. I haven't received a refund, nor a new belt or any correspondence to let me know what was going on. There are other similar reviews saying that emails are not replied to, customers are having to pay out of their own pocket faulty items and aren't receiving refunds. I really wish I had read the reviews as I would have avoided using this company. Be warned!

Great customer service

I was worried that the blazer I ordered would not arrive in time for my daughter to start school so I called them and spoke to a very helpful man who said he would look into it and call me back. I didn't expect to hear back but he actually called back twice - once to say it was in stock and again to say it had been despatched. It's not very often you get customer service like that these days!

Jumpers never arrived and its been a month

I ordered 2 school jumpers size 7-8 on the 9th of February. It's now the 5th of March. I've contacted about where the jumpers are or I want I refund. So far I've been ignored twice. Don't no how to get my money back. An update otherwise on how long they will take would be handy but surely a month is a joke! Con site I guess

Won't use them again. Don't order if you want a quick turn around.

Everytime I order from this company, I have to chase the order. This time was the worsed and will not use them again. Needed a blazer for my Son, said 2-3 days or 5-7 days, ordered on the 3rd and it was the 15th and still no delivery. Contacted them via email and had no response. Contacted them again, this time they responded saying it had only got to the embroiders on that day!! What a joke, meanwhile my Son didn't have a blazer to wear. They thought it was fine because it was half term! Not that my Son needed it during half term for a presentation. Apparently the blazer was out of stock but their website said different. Finally arrived on the 18th. I'm disappointed that this company didn't offer me any compensation for such a late delivery and such poor communication in the beginning.

Highly recommended

I had to return the item and the staff was excellent and most helpful. I could not fault them. The item, that I bought was too big for my son but it looked top quality.
