It was my first time using Drivalia and definitely not the last. Karl, at the Heathrow branch, gave AMAZING customer service. Everything was made super easy. The price was right, the car zippy and comfortable. Drop off was just as easy at Stanstead Airport. A nice bonus convenience is that they included the bus rides to and from the terminals at Heathrow as well as Stanstead. I’ll for sure recommend Drivalia to friends and family.
Absolute scammers. I arrived in plenty of time and they gave the car way. Try to charge me a late fee even though explained in advance. They tried to upgrade me to a SUV which I can’t drive due to my arthritis. They tried to charge me extras and extras and extras and I am out of £500. The manager was god awful and very unhelpful. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all. They have also said “as a woman I must be tired”. Absolutely disgusting misogynistic service from the manager.
Shuttle from airport to collect the car was good. Two sets of instructions online - one said that the would track our flight and would collect us, another said we had to call. We called to play it safe. Return shuttle was also good. Car that we picked up was not in great condition. Lots of scratches, big dent in the rear passenger door. We asked how to open the petrol cap and they had to prise it open with a key. Warning light on the dashboard that they hadn’t talked us through. Considering the amount they charge people if they damage the car I’d expect their cars to be in good condition.
