I paid $400 for a genetic testing. I was told these results would be available online. I was never able to retrieve my results, and have spent hours of my valuable time attempting to speak with someone in customer service to have the problem fixed. Customer service representatives are rude and unhelpful. I would stay far away from this company. They take your money and provide no results.
I have recently (two weeks ago) done genetic testing with this company and paid $350 for it (was told it was less to begin with). I was told this also included the online test results when I paid over the phone. When making an account to access results there is an explanation of why you need to enter your credit card stating that if you have paid already, you will not be charged. Unfortunately, I was charged. When calling to dispute the payment and to be refunded, (also to find out where my results are because the site has said "1 day of scheduled maintenance" on and off for two weeks) I was told because I paid over the phone and not online, this wasn't complimentary for me. I explained their site has been down and I was unable to pay online due to this. The response was "not sure what you want me to say". I also asked to be transferred to speak to someone about my results and was told that I have "barely hit the maximum time of 14 days" with no transfer. By the way I waited 45 minutes on hold to speak to this person. I don't expect to be treated like a queen when talking to customer service but remembering what it would feel like to be the person trying to get health results would be appreciated. This is also a very large company. The refund money is not coming out of the pocket of the worker, if there was an issue with the site to receive the complimentary online result option, honor it for those who aren't able to access it.
I went to Dynacare 5 days ago to get my blood tested. I have been there many times, and never had any problems, but this time, not so lucky. When the tech. put the needle in my arm, it hurt a lot (usually it's pretty painless). Shortly after getting this test, I noticed a bruise coming up, and my inner elbow hurt to touch it. Now, its 5 days later and I have a huge black and blue mark that's about 3 inches x 2 inches, and my inner elbow still hurts when I move my arm. I don't know what is happening here, but it looked to me that the tech was angry and somehow took it out on me when she put the needle in. The way she put the needle in appeared to be a bit of a butcher job, and its still heavily bruised 5 days later. My wife is a nurse and she figures I should have it looked at by a doctor. I haven't done this yet, because I'm thinking its going to be ok, but I'm wondering if I was maybe sabotaged during the procedure. I don't like to say that Dynacare is a bad place, because all the other times I've been there it's been great. Also, I don't want to create problems for the tech, but damn, my arm hurts.
Rude staff, don't know how to work efficiently, worried more about there brakes instead.I was told 43 minutes of wait time when I checked in, but ended up waiting there for 87 minutes. When asked, "we are short if staff"It is the basic right of every patient to get the results of his or her tests and lab can't refuse it once they verify the identity of the patient.But this lab does not give u the results unless u pay them $10. I called there 1 800 number and spoke to a manager Jennifer J Ext 6705. She verified my identity but refused to email me my result. She said the only way for me to get the results was to pay them $10. She said even if I go the the location where I gave the sample, they would not give me my results without me paying them $10 to subscribe to their app.She said that the amount I paid was only for conducting the tests and did not include the charges for providing the patient with the results. Isn't it AMAZING!!!!!I usually go to Medical laboratories of Windsor. You can access and print ur results by logging on to their website for free. This time I made a stupid mistake and went to Dynacare.
Today I went to Dynacare for a bloodwork and it was honestly the quickest and painless experience I've had for a bloodwork beforeWe got there in the morning (I usually get a bloodwork every week cause of ITP) This time I met a really nice lady named Maureen, she did it efficiently and quickly and was overall super polite honestly my best experience with Dynacare so far!
I went to the Milton location this morning for a blood test. the Lab. Tech who was at the desk named Noralyn was very professional, polite and most of all she was very kind in handling my blood test procedure. I hope Dynacare management will pass this message about her good work
My wife visited 4040 Finch Dynacare, a technician named Cindy help her doing the blood work. She was very polite and friendly particularly very professional doing the blood test job, my wife was so impressed by her working attitude fast patient and friendly so my wife said she will recommend all her friends if they need blood work test they must go this location because she had a very good experience.
