The flowers we ordered for a funeral never showed up despite ordering 3 days prior to event. Had we not looked for them, we might not have realized that they were not received. The customer service was very understanding and took care of us, but it never should have happened in the first place.
Two times within a year, this company has FAILED to deliver flowers after confirming the order. When a friend or family member passes, we want to show our care and concern by sending flowers if we are unable to attend the services. They refunded the money but that's NOT the point. I wanted the flowers delivered as promised. And in BOTH cases, when I contacted customer support, they blamed someone else and said it was beyond their control. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! They took the order and my payment and should deliver as promised. I might accept one mess up. BUT TWO, within 7 months!!
On Jan. 27, ordered an $80 funeral arrangement through Echovita. When I received the confirmation of order, I was surprised to find I was charged an additional fee of $9.99 for an "eternity candle." Don't know what this is and didn't request to order it. Echovita has since refunded the fee & advised that the item & fee could have been removed during the order process. Appreciated fee refund but feel this item should NOT be automatically added to an order for the customer to later remove if not wanted.
