**NOW IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION -CHECK COMPANIES HOUSE ***search IAH Electronic Industries Limited. Scammers. Hide behind 2 websites, (Please look at reviews for Cheaptvs.co.uk), landline always has a temporary fault, don't reply to email after email. They will sell you a faulty TV then refuse to help you. I purchased a TV in June, all fine. Purchased another in July (I have twins) didn't set the TV up until November. On the first day, worked ok for the first half hour, then got lines on the screen. Turned it off. Tried it the next day and was fine again. We noticed that when connected to PC half the screen was yellowish. After an hour or so lines appeared again. Boxed it back up. This TV has been out of its box for 2 days. Contacted them at least 5 times via their online chat and email, eventually got a response asking for photos (which I had already sent them). Eventually offered to repair, I wasn't happy with paying £280 for a TV with this fault. They refused a refund. Contacted Citizens Advice in the end. Long story short, 6 months later, I have had this TV assessed after reading previous reviews stating that TV's other people had purchased had older TV parts inside, some weren't even the same brand as the TV. I felt I had been scammed. This company feels they don't need to abide with the Consumer Rights Act. They are refusing to do anything for me now I have a report saying it has a faulty LCD screen. Other people have had to take them to the small claims court. Looks like I will have to do the same. I will be contacting Citizens Advice so they can pass all this to Trading Standards. All this while fighting cancer and a twin without his birthday present. In reply to the response below, when I first purchased the TV you did have a landline, it was on your website. What sort of a business operates without a phone line. You do ignore emails, other customers have said this in their reviews over and over again. I have the proof. Again lies.I have not flat out refused a repair, yes, I would have preferred a replacement or refund. Most businesses would offer this, you are wrong in what you say. I also waited a month for you to get stock in for a replacement. I had to chase you at that time because there was no contact from you. I then got an email back saying the "senior manager" was only willing to repair this TV. By this time I had seen all the reviews of your dodgy dealings of putting old parts in newer TV's and thought I may have been scammed. I was guided by Citizens Advice who encouraged me to have this TV assessed. They advised that any customer has the right to have goods independently assess. You don't seem to agree with this though and seem to ignore this. If this is what you mean by the comment I was trying to catch you out. Strange thing to say. I informed you I was going to have the TV assessed as I was feeling I may have been scammed but received no reply. I said I would contact you when I had the report. Unfortunately a cancer diagnosis and 4 surgeries and Christmas got in the way. However, you now turn this on me again I am an honest person, this TV has been stored in my living room, in it's original packaging, the correct way up, out of the way where it is safe. To suggest anything else is just another way of trying to wriggle out of taking responsibility and is shady behaviour. The report I had done states there is an intermittent fault with the LCD. This report has been provided by someone with over 40 years experience, who does lots of reports for insurance companies and Argos. You are making yourselves look like fools. Do you not think if it was water damaged he would have said. I have enough intelligence to know a TV isn't stored upside down. You also fail to understand the word faulty and seem to want to blame customers for damage. There is a difference between faulty and damaged.I hope everyone can see from the response just what you have to put up with and I hope you can see that they are just scammers who deserve to be prosecuted by Trading Standards. I have since seen a further review by a gent who had a faulty TV, he sent it back for repair but when they got the TV back, they claimed the screen was broken. Funnily enough, I was warned about this scam by the person that did my report, he told me to make sure I filmed the TV working, it being packaged and collected. My gut tells me they possibly would have done this to me. I will contact Citizens Advice so they can pass this to Trading Standards. I'm also going to contact Rip Off Britain then take it from there. Please everyone, learn from my mistake, open an item the first day of getting it then you can have a refund by law (or within the first 28/30days is it), heaven forbid you leave something safe in a box for 3 months before you open it, you will be accused of water damage etc and be dismissed. Please don't buy from these or you could lose £300 like me.
Ordered a TV on the 16th. Now the 21st and have been told it’s not been processed. Currently attempted phoning 53 times and not once have I had an answer. Took numerous attempts at the chat and emailing to just be told it’s not processed. If you live close and can drive it might be worth it otherwise communication is awful. We’ll see if I ever get it.
