Brilliant Staff! Brilliant TV

Had a fantastic experience with the staff at Electronic World in Birmingham, unfortunately the delivery company they use damaged my TV and i was most upset about this, after sending all the photos and letting them know what had happened they didn’t question me and promptly replaced my TV with an even better one 2 days later. The quality of the TV + the discounted rate they offer them out at is phenomenal value and combined with the customer service it’s as good as any wholesaler of electrical goods if not far better.

Purchased an LGTV in May of last year

Purchased an LGTV in May of last year. It had intermittent issues starting up from early on and by October it was so frequent that we contacted the company for help. They offered a repair and took the better part of a month end-to-end to get it collected, repaired and returned. When it was returned it came back without the remote so we lost another week. Even then the remote came without batteries so they managed to pinch those too. When I pointed this out I never got a reply.In February of this year the problem started again. Now it’s totally failed so unable to turn it on at all. Awaiting a reply but so far so rubbish…

How not to buy a television

Having being diagnosed with advanced cancer, I decided to take my mind off my situation by buying a new TV. I purchased one from Electronic World which is owned by a Mr Hussain.The sale went smoothly the £630 being taken for the set. Then nothing no communication from the company or the the third party courier service they were using for the free delivery. Eventually I organised the delivery myself. The TV however, arrived a day late with items missing screws for the stand and the solar remote. After these arrived the item was setup only to find it didn’t work. The company was contacted and I was told they didn’t have another TV in stock to replace the broken one. As soon as I finished this call I looked on their website only to find the same TV as mine for sale online. I phoned them back and was told yes I could use this one to replace my broken one but it had scratches on the screen. When I mentioned there was no mention of this in the item description online they said it was an oversight on their behalf.I elected for a refund. This could not happen until the TV was picked up. As the couriers didn’t answer incoming calls I had to wait until they contacted me The TV was eventually picked up and a refund issued. This whole experience which started in early April has been so stressful and inconvenient and detrimental to my present condition. So at the end of May I still find myself without a TV contemplating my pending course of gruelling cancer treatment.

Over 10 years of TVs!

I've been coming to ElectronicWorldTV for over 10 years and I can say that the customer service and quality of their products is fantastic.Over the 10 years I still have the TVs I have bought and they remain in perfect working order.I would recommend 10/10 for these guys!

Terrible customer service

Ordered a monitor, delivery was prompt, all was looking good. Minor scuffs on the panel that weren't mentioned in the "A Grade" listing, but I was prepared to put up with that for the price.After a couple of days the monitior developed vertical bands and then 2 days later the panel failed entirely and woud no longer displayed video.As there was no Samsung warranty available despite this being listed as "New" I contacted them to arrange collection for repair. Communication was non-existent after the monitor had been collected so I chased for an update a week later. I was informed that they had not yet recieved the monitor and would start work next week when they received it.Another week went by with no comms so I chased again. When I again received no response I contacted them to arrange a refund. An immediate response came back advising that the monitor was with their engineer and I would get an update the next day, however, as my confidence was non-existent at this point I requested a refund.To their credit I have received a full refund, however, the 1* review is due to the product not being as listed and the terrible communication over the month long process.
