Review Time
We have had the Elina Pilates equipment in our studio for nearly 2 years now! They are a lovely size and comfortable/stable to get on and off the machines. The springs are high quality and have great resistance in them. They are a great piece of reformer equipment and I would highly recommend them for studio owners. I have been using their towers for over 5 y and I love them! They are strong and well made and sleek and look great! We have just ordered reformers and Cadillac the order was delivered quite fast customer service was responsive. Time will tell of the quality of their reformers as I have always used BB before!
I read some bad review about customer service, but from my experience all went fine. I always had reply within +- 24 hours. When some part was missing we have solved it and it was send via Fedex as soon as it was possible. We have bought Reformers and Cadillacs and we can confirm that price - performance ratio was really good. Assembly was easy and there are PDF / video manuals. We can recommend their products.
My equipment keeps breaking and I cant ever talk to anyone live as they are located in Spain. They do not have communication properly set up for US customers or any contacts in the US. It took a simple replacement part 5 weeks to reach me and my reformer was unusable for that entire time - the footbars are unstable and get jammed repeatedly. They are very nice aesthetically and the shipping is fast but I would not recommend.
After 8 long weeks of prodding on my part, they finally sent me a machine in week 12 and guess what? They sent me an incorrect machine that looked very cheap with a badly damaged body. I asked for a replacement but they were completely unresponsive. I am very disappointed with this purchase as their machines are very expensive but I received a damaged and incorrect machine with no response. If it's possible to upload a picture, I'd love to do so.
I purchased a wooden exerciser and 10 weeks have passed and it still hasn't arrived. I tried to find them through the URL on their website to get my exerciser back. Guess what I saw? There is no factory for it including any office at all. I can't reach anyone at all including the phone number left. This company is a scam from start to finish. I have filed a complaint with the bank.
SECOND UPDATE: Once I got Elina Pilates to respond, they were much better, getting my products shipped out and keeping me informed. Everything arrived before Christmas so that was a relief. If they'd been like that from the start, I'd be giving them a 5* review. The equipment itself is high quality, on par with the Balanced Body Studio Reformer I've used at local pilates studio.UPDATE: Maybe just a coincidence, but within 24 hours of leaving this review I got a response from Elina Pilates and they have resolved my order issue. Now waiting on order to arrive. Not happy it took so long, but am happy they did finally respond. Updating review from 1* to 3* until order is filled.Non-responsive company. Ordered 3-weeks ago and they were quick to run the transaction but now there is zero communication. No one ever answers phone, voice mail only. No one ever responds to emails or online comments...ever. I have no idea where my order stands or even if it's coming. Just awful customer service (actually non-existent customer service is more accurate).
