Ordered an Ohlins Rear Shock Absorber SU916 for Vstrom 650 on Nov 25, 2025 from Taiwan, and received it Jan 20. The absorber's was delivered well-packaged, safe and sound (and it works perfectly well with my Andreani forks). But the shopping experience was less than satisfactory overall.

I had learned of the estimated delivery time (> 30 business days at the time of ordering) for my order, read through all Trustpilot and Google reviews for this company, and developed mixed feelings about placing an order---because, as you can see, quite a few customers reported negative experiecnes. But I eventually went ahead, considering that there couldn't be any better deal.

I knew Ohlins products like mine normally take long to deliver, yet l reached the company several times trying to learn about how my order was being processed and whether therer would be any specific progress. I didn't mean to rush things; I just wanted to make sure if they were working on my order.

They replied "waiting for some information" once in mid-Dec and twic in mid-Jan, which made me lose my patience and ask my credit-card issuer to demand a refund. I figured they were being evasive and my order was not being properly attended to. To my relief and surprise, they soon had my order shipped, and I responded with an apology.

Regardless, while we didn't communicate well, I'd love to revisit EM MOTO. I would be grateful if you guys can be more straightforward with your customers.

Great company and prices just understand the process before you order

The amount of 1 star reviews here is quite unfair. These guys seem to be a smaller company that ships all around the world, and that means;1. They offer good prices due to less overheads2. They're very busyThe estimated time to ship orders is clearly listed, and most of the people giving negative reviews seem to have ignored or thought that time didn't apply to them. I ordered a Power Commander 6 and it was dispatched in the time they estimated and it was around 10% cheaper than anywhere else.I recommend this company.

Good Value for Money but Communication should be Clearer

Purchase experience

Received my purchase. Looks all good and happy with the muffler. There was some lag time with communication about the order, so opportunity for improvement by EM MOTO, especially for international buys that don’t have easy assess to ask questions.

You can never get through to anyone

You can never get through to anyone. Nobody answers. I said I needed my order urgently because I was going on vacation and asked them to cancel it. They wouldn't cancel it. Don't shop here. My order number is 2000062085. I don't play games. Express shipping means if you don't specify the day, you send an email after receiving the money. My currency is not euros. Your bank charged a 10% commission for the conversion. I wrote to you every day, and you replied four business days later. Quit trading and go work as a porter. You're not very skilled in areas that require intelligence.

Was a little on edge about ordering…

Was a little on edge about ordering from EM Moto after reading some reviews but will gladly say i was pleasantly surprised with them and their service. I was ordering from rural Australia and it only took 2 weeks to ship from Europe and clear customs. Perfectly wrapped and my engine my engine guards looks amazing on the bike.

Completely Unreliable and Not to Be Trusted

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. Their stated shipping time is 15 business days, yet when I tried to cancel my order after only 5 business days, they claimed it had already been shipped. However, my order status still shows “processing,” which directly contradicts what their customer support told me.After that, they stopped responding to my messages completely. I also never received any tracking information. Based on my experience, it feels as if they are avoiding any accountability, making it nearly impossible to get a refund. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Custom Charges Apply!

I purchased a TC8 Shoei Motorcycle Helmet from this company on 13/11/2025, to date I have still not received the item. I did today however get an email off Royal mail, stating that I owed £119.16 in custom charge. This was not mentioned when I purchased the helmet, if it had been I would have bought the helmet for a similar price (minus custom charge) a little closer to home. I want to make people aware of this, and advise them so they do not make the same mistake. The full and correct expected charge should have been displayed so a customer can make an informed decision. I will not be purchasing any further items from this company, Beware!
