Review Time
I ordered a beautiful chrome Quaich for a gift and had it engraved. The item arrived and I was delighted with both the quality of the Quaich and the engraving. However I was bitterly disappointed with the packaging provided. The website states “Comes beautifully boxed for a ready-to-gift presentation.” In fact it came in a bland cardboard box with a big white sticker saying “R2300” on the front. This was clearly not a suitable box for gifting. The sticker made it look like something I had bought from Argos. I feel the box description on the website is misleading. The website should make it clear, by photograph, what the box you get looks like so as to avoid any other customer being misled or disappointed. I have now had to purchase a presentation box from another firm. It’s a real shame because other than the box being a let down every other aspect of their service was exceptional.Despite emailing this firm and leaving a specific item review they have not been in contact.
