Review Time
I have taken several combination land/sea trips with Enrichment Journeys all over the planet. They handle air arrangements, transfers, hotels, excursions, cruises reservations and it is a huge relief to have a company I can trust to do this well every time!! Their trips have all been extraordinary experiences for a very good value. Flights are well done and transfers from the airport to hotel are efficient ( and sometimes even private!). Hotels are excellent and in great locations within walking distance of restaurants, attractions, etc. Tours on land are of very good quality and often combine star attractions with local experiences, such as sushi making, drum playing and pedicycle rides with electric bikes on my latest trip to Japan/South Korea. The tour guides always speak good english and are well informed about the area they represent. My favorite type of trip combines some time on land with tours, and a cruise afterwards. EJ knows how to maximize your precious travel days so you get the most out of every city. I have been very satisfied with this company and love having my time and money maximized on every trip. They have created wonderful experiences and memories for me by offering a great selection of experiences on their trips, and every detail is taken care of so all have to do is show up! I highly recommend Enrichment Journeys!
6-Night Iceland tour was amazing. Quality hotels were selected, the provided lunch/dinner meals were very good, and most important the local guide and bus driver were excellent and most knowledgeable . Of course the scenery and places visited were beautiful too.
This was our first & last enrichment journey. We felt it was too stressful & time consuming when transferring from one location to the next. It was confusing, poorly organized & far too much vacation time spent transferring. Also difficult to have to pack for the least amount of luggage allowed when using three different airlines. We were very disappointed in the location of the London Hotel; it didn’t feel safe. We needed to travel by Taxi to go anywhere. We will Go from airport to cruise ship & back in the future. The only reason we did not give 5 was because of the Best Western Hotel in Caen. The room was far too small for a 3 day stay. The Marriott Ambassador was not ready for us and by the time we got our room we had 10 minutes to freshen up and meet our group for dinner. Hotels seem to be your weak point as that has been a problem for us on other Enrichment Journeys
The sites visited were great. Our tour guide and lunches provided, not so much! Our tour guide was Italian and hard to understand. And her understanding of us was limited.The restaurants left a LOT to be desired. We did not travel to the U.K. to eat FRENCH FOOD. And those meals were long and took up valuable time. The company used was G-2. I would rethink using them. Because of this, we won't do an Enrichment Journey again.
